Tera. Gloria and Chris are some of the coolest people you will ever meet in Texarkana! They are genuine, loving people who really care about animals and not just dogs. They go out of the way to treat everyone with dignity and respect the sacrifices they make to the animal community is unreal. highly recommend. They are also very knowledgeable about various breeds and well-connected.

I loved my little boy, he was fun to have around and fun to play with. He would follow me around and just be a joy, until he was not. If someone came over or we took him anywhere, he was uncontrollable. I don’t know about anyone else, but fighting with a dog on the other end of a leash was no fun. He would run off and sometimes he would come when called, sometimes not. He was a royal pain in the butt but more importantly, it was not a safe situation sometimes. Then I found Muttworks. When I first dropped by to inquire, it was immediately apparent that these people loved dogs and loved their chosen profession. The trust was fast. The training we picked seemed expensive, but we were told we didn’t have to pay all up front so if for any reason we were not satisfied, we could just simply stop. I can’t stress enough the fact that after the first week, we knew our decision was a good one.My dog is less than a year old and weighs 75 pounds. On occasion he gets a bit hard headed, but hey, he’s still a puppy. We can take him to places like Lowes, Home Depot, restaurants with outdoor seating and he minds really well. People can come to the house and he will now not jump all over them. He is a joy.If we drive anywhere near Muttworks, my dog goes crazy, he loves that place and can’t wait to get back. This has been a wonderful experience for our dog and my wife and I. I would highly recommend it.

My Mazie has done so well with MuttWorks Dog Training. She was scared of her own shadow before starting their doggie day camp a few weeks ago. She was so scared initially that she bit the trainer on the first day. She loves him now and loves going there. They offer a variety of training. The group sessions are so much fun! Thank you so much for everything you all do!

I wish I would have found MuttWorks sooner, I would list names but there are so many. When we took our 6-month-old (now almost a year old) German Shepard to them, he was very reactive, scared of going out to stores, the vet, or meeting new people... All of these were a nightmare for me (and him). Now we can go out to stores, do outdoor activities, and even with groups of people. I was so impressed with how they turned his training around that I have also taken his "sister" a 4-month-old German Shepard to have her trained as well (dropped her off for training at 12 weeks old to start her off right). I took 2 handfuls (fur babies) in and got 2 very well-behaved best friends back. After 6 months we are now in protection training, and it is going great. The classes are very informative and, most importantly, fun because let's be honest, if you're not having fun then your pet is not having fun and now, you're not going to classes. Everybody I have interacted with at MuttWorks has been very professional, friendly and more importantly, THEY LOVE AND TREAT EVERY SINGLE DOG THEY TRAIN LIKE THEIR OWN.

This was a huge waste of money. Had to have both dogs shaved when we got them back due to matting, They smelt like smoke terribly, and learned nothing. Find another trainer.
