Texarkana is fortunate to have some really nice family owned furniture stores and Gateway is certainly one of them. We were there 3.5 years and loved shopping and visiting with everyone there. When came for jobs and had to get new household items so we went everyone. Gateway had a range of prices and since we did cash and carry we got a especially good deal. Adam was so patient with me. I must have looked at a zillion dressers. Just seemed like really great folks. We had to move due to careers but we appreciate the great family businesses in Texarkana.

Ive dealt with Gateway Furniture many times. These people are the best to work with. They will treat you like family. This last time I used them, they were a life saver for me literally. I don't shop anywhere else when I need a piece of furniture. They are the best.

Great place to buy furniture. Original had been in furniture business for many years and willing to help you find what you are looking for. I personally have known some of the staff for many years through a company my father worked for, Dowd's Furniture when it was in downtown Texarkana.

I went to Best appliance and ask them if I could buy a used washer hose she said no that I could buy a new hose they don't like giving people old washer hoses I was really strapped on cash but I needed a washer hose thought I would try there well I went from there to gateway to see if I could get a hose and the guy was so nice he said to one of his employees walk back there and get her a hose for our washing machine the guy did he brought out two good hoses and didn't charge me anything I felt so blessed that I got to go home and wash clothes thank you very much sir the next day I got my check and I went back and bought a dryer plug from them I didn't ask the guy's name but I'm assuming he was the owner I'm here to tell you thank you you blessed me

The owner Rex was a fantastic breath of fresh air that we needed. He made it super easy to purchase a washer and dryer, and got it set to deliver tomorrow. We will be back, and recommend this business to others.
