I’m not the type to go out of my way to leave a negative review, but the service was so notably terrible. Especially considering the fact that the workers receive commission. My party was profiled the second we walked in, presumably since we weren’t in western clothing. We weren’t greeted and through the hour we shopped around it was as if the workers were actively avoiding eye contact. We kept joking that we were invisible, trying to find humor in the situation. If I’m dropping over $200 on boots I think I deserve a “Is there anything I can help you find today? “ even a “ hello” would have sufficed. The checkout process was impersonal as well. She didn’t say a word to me other than “ do you need a box?” no smile or anything. I won’t be returning and I recommend that you don’t pay a visit at all. Nelson’s in Texarkana is a much more affordable and hospitable experience. Massively disappointed.

My daughter and I went inside the establishment in Texarkana today and one employee was watching us as we looked at the kids hats and then was watched as we went over to the kids belts. No conversation was held with us at all but we saw that the employees held conversations with the Caucasian customers. At the register we wasn’t asked did we find everything ok or nothing! We are good enough to spend our money but not good enough to see if we finding everything ok! I was very upset! As if they didn’t even want to approach us!

We love this store and everything about it. Great service, clothes, decor, accessories, jewelry, candles, purses, perfume/ cologne, hats, hat reshaping...etc.

Couldn’t get any help in hats or boots. I won’t waste my time with a second trip. Never had this problem at other locations before. Decent selection, but if no one is even going to acknowledge you here, why bother. Store was not busy on a Wednesday afternoon.

I was interested in purchasing the Stetson 6X Skyline in Granite Gray and contacted Customer Service via e-mail about getting the hat brim cut down from 4" to a 3" brim. They responded and said it could be done and to call the Cavender's Store in Texarkana, TX. and they would do it. I went to the store and picked out the hat and within 10 minutes they were finished with it. It turned out perfectly and it's a very sharp looking hat.The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous.You just can't beat the service!
