“Excellent veterinary. Coming back from a dogshow my dog had a cough last year. It wasn't typical kennel cough presentation and he had lung crackle. Dr. Harris suspected mycoplasma and prescribed doxycycline and he cleared right up. What's special about that? In the wake of all these concerns about aCIRD, I revisited this experience and also came to realize that mycoplasma is not susceptible to beta-lactam anti-biotics which vets commonly prescribe. There were also pro-handlers who had very bad cases of influenza and mycoplasma. We vacinate for influenza. But many vets prescribe clavamox which mycoplasma is not susceptible to. Dr. Harris knew better. My dog is strong, he may well have cleared up with out any antibiotics, but it was nice knowing that my vet is knowledgeable of emergent pathogens, not all are. And additionally, they have a lot of walk-in hours which is awesome. Good people.”

They try to avoid costly tests if they can and go straight to treatment because they are very experienced. They always work us in too which is nice!”
