Having been a James Avery fan and buyer since 1965, I was remiss that I hadn’t been in the Terrell store. So I drove up about opening time this week and wanted to get my JA Mission cross cleaned while I shopped the store for the first time. The “manager” told me I’d have to leave it for a day.That has never happened.Usually staff is happy to accommodate while I shop. A good way to encourage shopping I’d think. But not this one. So I declined and left. Never to return.Disappointed.

I came to get a custom charm put on my bracelet & get other jewelry polished. immediately when I came in the employee’s were not welcoming. I told the employee my needs & she proceeds to help me very sarcastically, many unnecessary comments were made. I return the same week because my charm was scrapped when getting placed & upon telling him my concerns he proceeds to say there’s nothing they have nothing that cause that as he takes my bracelet to the back while shaking his head with a bad attitude. It’s like pulling teeth asking these employees to help you in anyway.. Worst experience I’ve had at James Avery. Very unfortunate that this is my local store. 0 stars.

Employees are wonderful. Very nice and knowledgeable about all products sold. Gonna love my new charm bracelet as soon as I get the charms placed I bought. Can't wait!

Cathy is extremely rude and disrespectful. She grabbed the bag after I asked for them to be wrapped individually and put them in one bag and then tossed it on the counter and said “that’s it” the older lady with glasses and curly hair is who helped me and she is super nice.

So unwelcoming. Upon arrival a couple and I approached the door at the same time. The Gentleman opened the door for myself and his partner to enter . I entered First , the couple of opposite race followed . Already on the sales floor an older Gentleman greets the couple , points out several items then proceeds to walk behind the Cashier counter . I looked the salesman in his eyes (the older ) anticipating the same courtesy he initiated the guest that walked in behind me . Unfortunately I didn’t receive any gestures or acknowledgment from any of the 3 that was behind the sales counter on 6/30/2023. I was disgusted but yet anxious to keep my word about the birthday gift that was promised and purchased. James Avery Charms aren’t the only options for telling stories. In fact , I have several charm bracelets however JAMES AVERY’s bracelets , chains and charms had become a traditional part of my family’s celebrations .The bigotry displayed in this store is unwarranted and unacceptable.

A friend gave me a James bracelet and I broke the safety chain. Go there and the little girl said that will cost me 20 bucks. I'm like WOW! So she went to check with the lady manager on duty and thank goodness for the correct answer, no charge. Maybe train the kids working there a little bit more. Still have to wait 10 days. No jeweler works there so they size no watches as well!
