“My family and I traveled from San Antonio, TX for a family gathering and chose to stay here from May 25th to May 28th. I am thoroughly pleased with everything. However, this morning at 6:30 am, Terrell, TX was struck by a tornado. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the staff. They were incredibly selfless, ensuring everyone's safety and well-being by providing water and snacks. With two little ones in our family, aged 3 and 1, I am immensely grateful that everyone in the building remained safe, thanks to the attentive staff who made us feel secure.”

“I live in Austin but had a friend’s wedding in nearby rural Kaufman, was needing a cheap place to crash for a night so I wasn’t driving back late, and this was the perfect place. Nice room, parking, nice AC machine for the hot Texas nights, comfy bed and pillows, and the folks behind the desk were super nice and friendly. I mean it in a good way that you get what you pay for. As in it’s not the Hilton, but it’s not Motel 6. And has Texas shaped waffles.”
