Most times I just try to get in and our of heb. I had a disturbing visit to heb. It was not due to heb. One of heb customers was mad because I brought my service dog into heb grocery store.

Word to the wise do not ever get gas at valero on 31st st in temple, TX! I paid for gas and then the pump stopped at 14 cents. Hang the pump up and go inside to see what's wrong with the pump. The guy kept telling me he didn't know. I'm like okay well I need my money back and he said it's on the card. So I try again and it declines. Then he proceeds to tell me that it's going to take 2 hours for the money to go back on the card. Excuse me?! So you had me try my card again damn well knowing that it's going to take 2 hours for the money to get back on the card?! And you couldn't tell me that in the first place?! So then here I am getting into a full fledged argument and decided to go outside and tell Immanuel. Mind you I haven't gotten paid from my new job yet so this money is from doordashing and doordash was super slow today so we didn't get much and I literally paid what I had. Then I call my mom trying to figure out what to do because it's 10pm and I have all 3 of my kids in the car and we can't get home without gas. Mom tells me to ask for a manager so Immanuel (my fiance) and I both go inside and ask to speak with the manager. The guy says manager is asleep and in Austin and won't be back in till tomorrow. So at this point I'm fuming the guy starts cussing at me. Then I'm in a full fledged argument and some drunk dude walks into the store listens to me arguing and starts screaming at me and threatening Immanuel and I. Then the employee calls the cops on us thinking that we were going to harass his customers and fight his customer. Cops show up cops handle the issue. But the employee said all his pumps work perfectly so his pump messed up and he's not being held accountable. So my parents gave us gas which we tried to avoid. Long story short count your days valero because im coming for you and letting you deal with all these bad reviews. I wish I was able to put 0 stars.

I'm sure the owner here is just trying to make a living, but this is not the safest place to get gas, especially at night. There is a laundromat next door and people wandering around, some asking for money and getting way too close for comfort.
Just be careful if you visit.
