If you're on a budget or other hotels are booked, Travel Lodge is a great alternative. Tucked away on the feeder, it's minutes away from fine dining and the major medical centers, including the VA. Don't be discouraged or fooled by the outside; the rooms are all clean and modern, with the comforts of a four or five star hotel.

Clean rooms, no pest and didn't smell of stale cigarettes. Decent pillows, Would definitely stay here again.

I like the service here. The rooms are clean and pest free. It’s one story so your vehicle is parked in front of your room. There’s no loud music or people keeping you up at night. I like staying here while I’m working out here. I would definitely recommend.

If you want to get into your room around 1 in the afternoon... Your golden with this hotel which is nice because other hotels let you in between 2 and 3Food & drinks: There is chili's IHOP McDonald's Jack in the box cracker barrel and a whole other corner at the intersection full of restaurants there

We checked in for 7 days last week. The floor was so filthy our feet was black. The cleaning lady didn't enter our room the entire time, leaving us to clean the room and make our beds. The cleaning lady wouldn't come in because I had a Chihuahua and a cat. We then paid for another week because we are waiting to find a place to live out here. Our rooms were switched and in the new room, the a.c. didn't work properly. The phone didn't work and the toilet didn't flush properly. I went to get towels in the morning and the owner told me he didn't know where they were at, and his staff was off on Sundays. We, then got a, knock on the door, the cleaning lady was called in and she decided to complain to us about being called in. We also found lice eggs in my daughter's hair. This place needs to be shut down! There is no proper lighting on the property. The laundry mat is one washer and dryer that doesn't work very well. They don't even have coffee in the lobby. I will never stay at a Wyndham resort again!Safety: The security guard is also the maintenance guy. I don't know how he supposed to be 24/7 to do both jobs.

We recently checked in, during summer month at 104° and the AC was not working. We even cleaned the filter, it was filthy, and still the AC did not cool the room. The fridge was at room temperature even at the coolest setting. Towels and linen dirty. Not worth the stay.

Stayed 8-1-23, this hotel is the best cheap hotel Ive come upon in a long time. Its an older hotel yes, but The rooms are super clean, AC works great in 100+ temps, and the price is just right. Hard to find a great room like this for under $75 anymore.-Room 133

We stayed 2 nights room was good the bed had some dirt on it but only on the top cover. The tub had gunk in the drain, the fridge leaks on the inside but otherwise clean the towels had some hair in them, there was logging companies staying and at night the parking lot was a bit cramped in the middle but there's plenty of space in front of the rooms to park. Quiet, traffic getting out of the parking lot is sometimes very busy and you'll wait 10 minutes to turn out of the lot but otherwise it was good for the stay we needed.

Best motel in Temple TX. Clean. Very quiet. Good hot water. Always good heat and AC. Comfortable bed. I highly recommend.

They don't serve any breakfast and the ice machine doesn't work did find a dead roach in the bathroom floor of my room the AC sucks and the faucet on bathtub shower doesn't work right you have to guess if it's going to be hot or cold or nothing don't recommend this hotel or the super 8 they are owned by the same

Clean and comfortable. That means clean sheets, clean towels, no bugs, nobody partying outside, no noise. I felt secure and safe every time of the half dozen times I’ve stayed at this property and have stayed there several times in the past 3 years including recently. No issues, great value, convenient location. I’m not being coerced, asked, or paid to review. I’m a traveling nurse.

I felt secure and safe every time of the half dozen times I've stayed at this property and have stayed there several times in the past 3 years including recently.
