Not ur typical at Vincent de Paul thrift store, the staff was distant to say the least. No offer to help find stuff or even tell me prices.Seems like the best stuff is out of reach on the shelves above marked "not for sale" which is a shame cuz they have some pretty neat stuff. Kinda pricey for a "thrift" store, plus most of the stuff is threadbare to say the least.

The staff weren't friendly at all. And the beautiful quilts you see in photos and things on top shelf not for sale. What's the point of displaying anything and NOT selling it? Will not be going any time soon again if ever. Jeans were marked $5/ea and tops $3/ea I believe. Very few things were marked w prices. Save your $$$ and go to Goodwill.

I just can't get over my frustration with this place. I went there this afternoon looking for a seated walker for my 77 year old father. The man(mad at myself for not getting his name) told me that they had none. Mean while another customer was standing right next one and the worker motioned to him to keep quiet. I guess the worker didn't realize I had already seen it. Anyway I thanked him and left. I thought about going back but if that is how they support the community I figure my money wasn't g[d enough for them. So sad that this happened.

This was a strange experience for a thrift store. It is no longer a St. Vincent de Paul thrift. It is owned by someone who claims it’s a thrift store collecting money for Christian charity. However, anything of value is not for sale… it is on top-shelf ‘display.’When we asked about an item it was snatched out of our hand and put it back on the shelf saying “it’s not for sale!”It’s not just one or two items NFS, it seems that the majority of the store is NFS. its as if the space has been decorated like a little museum of everything of quality that was given by donation and they are only willing to sell the items of little to no value. We left there feeling perplexed, wondering if the new owner may be dealing with some sort of hoarding tendency, which honestly is sad to see considering all of the items in the store were donated under the impression that they would be sold for a good purpose.I do not recommend donating here, or buying here, as it feels like it is supporting a personal cause, not a Christian outreach program.

Ok, so for starters I would totally love to give 0 stars but in order to leave a review it does not give you that option unfortunately.. well I had a very horrible experience going to visit the thrift store for the very first time and I will NEVER go back!! When I first walked in my initial thought was wow this is such a cute store with lots of cute items to choose from. Little did I know that actually your options to choose from are very very slim as they literally keep all of the nice items for the store and refuse to sell any of it! They literally keep all of the nice items and will only sell the junk!! I had found an old raggedy Ann and Andy doll set hanging on the wall and was told they are not for sale. Then spotted a precious moments praying boy and was again told not for sale. A metal coffee sign and again not for sale. A wooden coat rack with cute colored iron knows for the wall and again not for sale.. I then was going into the kids room where they have it decorated very cute with items above head and a large black shelf that has a ton of stuffed animals on top and my almost 14 month old baby girl was with me and loves sesame street and spotted a cookie monster and an elmo. She got so excited as did I and I picked them up for her and was going to purchase them when all of a sudden this extremely rude and arrogant blond headed lady who claims to be the director came into the children's room and became very rude to me. Telling me that those items are not for sale and that she is the director and brings those items in to decorate the store. She began going through my basket and pulling items out telling me how they are not for sale. There was a very sweet older gentleman that worked there and was in the room during the incident and he felt horrible and ashamed by her actions. She told him that he cook take the stuffed animals from me and put them back. I then simply asked her if there was anything else in my cart that she would like to take out. She told me at that point that if I'm going to be rude then I can just leave. I of course was not the one being rude by any means so at that point I told her what I thought about her and the fact that she wants to keep all of the good items and only willing to sell junk! I do not recommend this thrift store at all and would love to know who the actual owner is.

Grocery Help.Lines too long, too many vehicles and one way streets. People honking & waving. No legal place to wait. ? I came from Killeen to Temple, not worth it, waste of time & Gas. Too many cruel people for free food. Not worth it. ??

Higher than Poshmark prices. 40 dollars for a generic fake fur coat. For 40 dollars at a thrift store I would expect the coat to be real mink. Not helping the poor at these prices, that's for sure.
