608 Hilliard Rd, TempleBoarded my pups with Bark + Bliss over the weekend and was very pleased. I received daily updates and photos and they got a nice bath before I picked them up. I have been taking my pups to Bark + Bliss since they opened. One of my pups had to be put down (she was nearly a 15 years old German Shepherd) and they did everything they could to ease the pain. The room I was in felt like a living room, not an exam room. They didn’t rush me - I couldn’t let go, I simply didn’t want her to go. They explained everything and their all inclusive cremation services are the best. The only thing I wished was that the crematory offered paw prints along with their snout print. Bark + Bliss is truly an amazing place, nothing at all like a stale vet office. I highly recommend them! Dr. Reeves and Dr. Brown are amazing, thorough, companionate and they take the time to they listen to your concerns and they explain anything you don’t understand. Best vet place in Temple in my opinion.

TempleI have to say, I have had the exact opposite experience of the other review. Dr. Katie is a very straightforward person, but she is also insanely knowledgeable and has legitimately saved my horses life THREE TIMES! My mare just will not drink water when she's eating hay and just a few days ago she had a bout with very severe impaction colic. We had her transported to Hayes Equine (they have someone on call to assist with transport) and Dr. Katie kept her for two nights to make sure the impaction fully resolved. She also gave us some tips and tricks to get her to drink more during the winter. My husband usually helps Dr. Katie with whatever needs to be done to our mare, because she can be pretty bad with the vet, and he has never had any issues working with Dr. Katie. When our mare had colic the time before, Dr. Katie actually cancelled her other appointments to make a farm call at our home. If you're looking for someone to spend extra time with YOU, holding your hand and comforting you, Dr. Katie is busy! She is there to help your HORSE. Everyone in the area knows she's the best, so she has to be thorough but quick. The office staff here have always been friendly to us and I feel the prices are more than fair for the service provided. I'm honestly very grateful to Dr. Katie and her staff for saving my beloved senior mare and giving me extra time with her.

Dr. Meyers saw my Belgian Malinois who is not only my best friend but my working K9 partner. She had an issue with her leg and they didn’t skip a beat. She was treated very well and everything that could be done was done and I left happy and informed about what needed to happen next for my little pup. If you have an emergency you with your loved little ones I would not hesitate to go here. I know that while training and /or working in the temple area again, I will definitely utilize their services if the unfortunate need should arise again. They were amazingly wonderful!
