Nuevo Leon Meat Market is a nice little shop with a hot deli in the back. They serve rice, beans, tortillas, and a variety of meats, including delicious, tender barbacoa that you can pull apart with a plastic spoon. They also serve some of the best menudo in town with well-seasoned broth.

"We were looking to buy some tamales for the holiday season, so we decided to purchase a dozen from the two highest-rated places in the area. We ordered a dozen pork tamales, but unfortunately, they turned out to be bland and salty, and the dough was pasty white without any flavor. In my opinion, the HEB "Mi Casa" brand is way better. That's just my honest opinion.

My favorite place to eat Menudo. But today very disappointed. The Menudo had no flavor, it smelled bad, the broth was colorless. Hopefully they can improve, like in previous times.
