I showed up 10 minutes after closing to pick up some pants I had brought in, because my browser said they closed at 6:30, and when I got there, the door said they closed at 6:00. A woman was inside at the counter, she made eye contact with me twice and waved me away saying “we’re closed” even though I was clearly upset. I understand they were closed, yes, I’m not upset about that, but considering they’re charging me $70 to dry clean two pairs of pants and hem one leg of each pair, I would expect better customer service. I’ve used Jonnie’s since I was in college for patching and cleaning and I’ve always had good experiences. This experience has turned me away and I’ll find somewhere else to go from now on.

Made the mistake today of thinking that a website was truthful. Drove an hour to get one alteration made to a pair of jeans. Website said this place does alterations daily but FAILED to mention this is only completed between certain hours each day. When we arrived, the lady at the register told us that alterations are only done between 8-2 pm. Even after explaining that the website did not specify this detail and that we drove over an hour, it was pretty clear they had no intention of making this happen. So sad. What has happened to customer service? There was definitely a better way to deliver that message. Expected more from a long-standing small business!

Got a simple alteration done and they way over charged me, won’t be using their services again. I have had many things altered before and have never paid so much for such a simple alteration. Alterations costed just as much as the dress itself. I came here about 2 years ago for similar alteration and they charged me less than half the price of what I paid this time. Maybe that’s how much they normally charge now but it seemed very overpriced to me.

We have a divided house for Super Bowl both me and my wife’s team made it and what our pup to wear both of our teams to be fair. So we took her two jerseys to Johnnie’s cleaners and we are glad we did. They did a nice job and had it ready for Super Bowl! I will come back here if I need anything else done!

I have to look professional, clean, and pressed for my work. Johnnie’s keeps me dapper. I trust them with all my shirts and suits. Every now and again I bring a specialty item and they take care of it!
