Great location away from the noise, and convenient to the hospital and college. Although currently undergoing renovation, this location is minimizing disruption to guests. Room was clean. Bathroom was in working order. My friends and I all had the same reaction; "Why is there no closet door?" I have an idea what the answer to that question is, but it is still STRANGE to have no closet door. Plenty of free parking. Away from the noise of freeways. Enjoyed our stay.

Second visit to this property. Believe it or not, the hotel is still being renovated OR maybe renovated again. I like what they did to the closets (without doors) mentioned in 2018. There is a handy storage tower with drawers and cubbies built into the closet. Bathtub caulking was worn, as was plumbing fixture in the tub. Some of the carpet was frayed, mattress is not very comfortable. One of things we found strange was having only one bedside lamp on one side of the bed. If there are two people sitting up reading, only one person has light. Makes NO SENSE! No alarm clock. Even if we all have cell phones, it is still nice to have a clock to check the time (especially in the middle of the night). Black-out shades are wonderful. Room was clean. Upholstered chair was clean and comfortable, as was the desk chair. Room was a good size.”

“They should bring corporate in to study this Hampton Inn. This hotel should be the standard for this line of Hiltons. Most Hampton inns disappoint. This location is obviously still a 2 star, but it’s well run. Staff is kind. No bad smells, clean design, spacious rooms, good beds, things running smoothly. You get what you get at any Hampton inn, but everything is just slightly elevated at this location.”

“My Husband and I have stayed at this particular location twice in the past six months. Front desk clerks have both been courteous. The rooms both were very clean and comfortable. No issues with noise. The parking lot was clean both visits. The Internet did not disappoint. We'll definitely make this our regular getaway.Safety: The parking lot has plenty of lights to see after dark and there are plenty security cameras. We feel safe when visiting this particular location.”

“The people working while we stayed there were excellent. The hotel itself is clean.
The rooms are older. There isn't a microwave in the rooms, only a dorm size refrigerator with a Keurig coffee maker.”

“Excellent service in all aspects!!! The girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful!!! 100% recommended! Even if you are a truck driver you can leave your truck on the street next to the hotel without any problem!!! Aaah, apart from everything, the room and the bathroom were very clean. And it smells good in general, not like other hotels that smell musty?.”

“If you're on a budget or other hotels are booked, Travel Lodge is a great alternative. Tucked away on the feeder, it's minutes away from fine dining and the major medical centers, including the VA. Don't be discouraged or fooled by the outside; the rooms are all clean and modern, with the comforts of a four or five star hotel.”

“Target is close by along with a plethora of good restaurants. And it's right off the freeway (I-35). I don't notice the traffic noise much but I do notice the train though that sound doesn't bother me.The rooms are nice. Good water and water pressure. Dishes in the kitchen. The stove top did not cook well. Could be the pans weren't the right pans for the cook top. The fridge didn't shut properly so we had to be conscious about making sure it closed and didn't pop open. Just some minor issues.Maids came by every day to see if we wanted a cleaning. Everyone was friendly and helpful.”

“Desmond and Porsche are amazing. We had a tornado hit and it rendered my apartment temporarily unlivable. The Red Roof, despite some damage, was open and had electricity. However their reservation system was down and they couldn't check people in. Didn't matter, they took my information and gave me a room anyway. Above and beyond what they had to do. I stayed a week, and despite of a shortage of hotel rooms, they charged me a reasonable rate. All of the staff are equally fantastic. I recommend the hotel on service alone!”
