Well organized, clean, easy shopping, discounts and shopping deals weekly. Also military discounts available on purchases. Lots of items and many furniture items such as couches, love seats, lamps, recliners, kitchen table sets, including outdoor furniture as well.
May food and snack items.
I got a huge Easter bucket for 4.99 plus a 20% discount.

This place is pretty good with taking care of its customers. Well, I may have a bit of a soft spot for this store, but we have always received great service at the Temple location. The guys and gals are very friendly in the furniture department and store rocks

I had just came from taking care of some business and I needed something to drink so since Big Lots was the closest store I decided to stop and get me a bottle of water. When I got to the counter to pay for hit the service was so bad. He didn’t ask me for my membership, or veterans ID so that I could get the discount. But come to find out I really needed the discount because he charged me $2.59 for a 16 oz bottle of water and I could have gotten a 40 pack of bottle water from Walmart for that price.

Big Lots is often overlooked. I think when they first opened, a lot of people visited...but now it's not a whole lot of people that go. I have an account with them (Big Lots CC) and they have household items that are beneficial...food pantry, toiletries, cleaning supplies, gift supplies, etc. They also sell furniture. My husband loves wild cherry Pepsi and they have deals on the 15 pack can sodas all the time...where you get it for half the price.

Very competitive. A store that so many people forget about. Staff friendly and helpful. Store very clean. Check it out. Update, 21 February, 2023. Oh how I do like this store. The upgrades in quality has amassed me. You'll be astonished on what you will find. Staff very friendly and store is nice and clean. Still a 5 ⭐ rating for me. Update: 13 Dec, 2023. Sales, sales and more sales. Apparently this has been a norm. Take a look and maybe save some $$. Still a 5 ⭐'s
