Favorite petco ever- staff is so helpful, wonderful with my dog, and very knowledgeable. Not the closet to my house, but worth the extra 10 min drive.

I came in at the last minute looking for a pet stroller. The 2 men working were so helpful. Not only did they take me right to that section, but offered to (and did!) put it together so that I could make sure it would fit in my trunk.
SO nice of them to do this, especially as they were getting ready to close.
One guy's name was Bear and, unfortunately, I don't remember the other fellow's name. They were both equally fabulous!

Yeah we will never ever be back here ever again for grooming. Pretty sure they abuse your dog here. His haircut was absolutely nothing like I told the groomer. He has cuts on his legs and was fine yesterday when I picked him up and today he is randomly yelping (which he never does) which makes me think something or someone did something to him. The groomer somewhat had an attitude when I was explaining what cut preference we would like. Absolutely terrible experience. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!

I am realizing that Petco often has more of the specific supplies I need for fostering and specific pet care. Today’s visit was extra pleasant after getting help from a sweet lady named Nancy. She helped me find what I needed and complimented my foster kitten and we discussed pets. It feels rare to get an authentic customer service experience these days, but Petco still has it!!

If I could give negative 5 star review I would.
This is specifically for a grooming appointment.
I brush my dog at least once a day. She needed a groom because we are going on a road trip and I didn't have the time to groom her myself.
But, my dog came back with knots on her ear and cheeks.
Also her nails were NOT trimmed.
I called PetCo wanting to speak with a manager about this but haven't heard back.
Not to mention there lack common courtesy, let alone customer service, with my interactions with the staff in this store. Horrible experience!

I am capable of rehabbing most betta and often try to save them from big box stores. They not only suffer from poor conditions because employees don’t know how to care for them (or don’t care), they also just have bad genetics. However, I have managed to rehabilitate even the worst cases from these stores.
The betta in these photos, and countless others, are dead because Petco doesn’t allow discounts on sick betta. It doesn’t matter what the policy is, the stores aren’t going to treat the sick fish. It takes time and effort. I have hand fed daphnia to betta before, prepared salt baths with the perfect ratios, and have every medication to treat every betta disease. Employees aren’t going to do that. Petco isn’t going to provide this. There are a few Petco stores in the area that care enough to discount them, but the employees at this location had zero empathy for these fish. I asked very politely if they would consider a discount and explained in detail what was wrong and how I could help. She didn’t even look at the fish, she just said “no, we can’t do that”. She didn’t even offer to ask a manager. Additionally, this store often has betta not in the main display, hidden away on a wrack that probably is overlooked by customers and employees. This is an issue with just ordering blindly without taking accurate inventory.
I’m so torn between buying fish from Petco to make sure they get a good home and boycotting Petco because they just shouldn’t be selling fish that they can’t take care of. I inevitably end up grabbing the sick ones because I just care too much.
I have emailed corporate about this location with no response.

Rabbits are funny things. One way they are also is picky. My rabbit Benito, does a certain kind of litter, a particular hay and specific feed pellets which is perfectly normal.
He digs out, throwing all over the wrong and different kind of litter. My wife and I order curbside. Every time they give us the wrong kind of scratch in our order. Is this mess created by over supply vs demand? "... Just give 'em whatever, credit card are versatile and don't care." -Petco, Brodie Lane mgmt

Kailey makes this place for us! We are fish hobbyists and dog people. Prices are great when they run sales. The self dog wash stations could use upgrades but overall the service is great, friendly, usually keeps what we need stocked up. But Kailey has been there a couple years and she's gone from associate to management. She's super helpful.
