“They have me hooked! Several friends has mentioned this place as a local business with great sustainable pet food options so I finally decided to check it out when looking for a new dog food. Ample parking as it's in a strip mall, the space is big and they have tons of great brands for food, toys, and other pet supplies. The staff is really what made it. They were super helpful in deciding on a dry food to try but that will get my pup enough nutrients and helped calculate how many cups of food is in the bag I went with to see what avg cost would be. Overall fabulous experience and can't wait to come back. PLUS they deliver free if you order before 3! Simply amazing”

“I went in couple months ago and asked an employee about dog foods for senior dogs suffering from joint pain. The vet suggested a very pricey food for me so wanted to see if Tomlinson had a cheaper option. Employee was very informative to tell me it’s better to get a liquid supplement instead so I thought I’d try it out! My 12 year old dog’s life has been turned around! She doesn’t struggle to get out of her dog bed and has been running around like a young pup for months now!!! Thank you ??”

“My pup Charlie and I love Zoom Room! We recently graduated from their Basic Obedience courses and also began the Fun at the Jump agility courses. These classes are super beneficial for my easily distracted pupper, so she can become more comfortable listening in her group classes and maintaining her focus. She has progressed tremendously in the handful of classes we have done. All the trainers are incredibly kind and informative! So far our experience has been great!”

“How many pet stores are ever featured on a local tourist information center's website? I wouldn't be surprised if no other pet store in the country is also considered a tourist destination. Tomlinson's is a local pet shop specializing in pet products with integrity. The original Tomlinson's was the first locally owned pet store in Austin. Th Burnet Rd store has many things you aren't likely to find at the pet supermarkets. They have private rooms full of supplies where you can wash and dry your dog. They have an engraving station where you can make tags for your pet. And, they have caring, attentive staff. Right now, they are matching every pet food purchase with a food donation to our local pet shelters. And if you go in the playroom you can help socialize local kitties looking for their forever homes. Going to Tomlinson's reminds you that you love animals in a city of people who love animals too.”
“I just wanted to call out an owner and a business that I think went well above and beyond anything that they needed to do. Back in January my dog hurt his leg and my vet wasn't too hopeful about his chances of recovery. We had reached a point where I needed to wheel my dog around in a little red wagon for anything more than a short walk. Wanting to spoil my dog on his last few days, I brought him into Amish's store where he proceeded to spoil my dog, shower him in treats and gifts, and refused my money.Takeshi ended up having a second wind and pulled through for another nine weeks before other complications arose. This time around though, I knew there wasn't going to be a second wind, and it was his time. It was scheduled for the day after the total eclipse. As some sure many of you remember, those days ended up being very cloudy and rainy. I can't tell you how heartbroken that my dog's last day wasn't going to be one that was special. No big walk in the park, not grand gesture, just a cloudy day. The only item I could do from my list was bringing Takeshi to Amish's store once more.I had a lot of mixed emotions this time around, as I was returning with a dog that had previously received free product because he should have passed. I tried to explain to Amish that I had come in the past with a very sick dog and asked if I could leave a payment or tip. He refused, and I could tell he didn't remember me. I've now realized means that his generosity is a common enough occurrence that it didn't stick out in his mind.But when I wheeled Takeshi on his red wagon, Amish immediately recognized him. I cannot stress to you how much of a dog person Amish clearly is. The amount of love and affection he immediately had for my dog seemed boundless. He and his entire staff then proceeded to give my dog treats, spoil him, pet him, and turn his last few hours into the special day that I'd hoped it would be. And once again, Amish refused to take any of my money.Since Amish continues to not accept my money, I am making a donation in his name to My Chi and me, the organization that brought him and his dog together. I will also be donating to Shiba Inu Rescue of Texas on behalf of my dog, Takeshi. Both orgs are amazing and I encourage you to check them both out.To close out, thank you Amish, and thank you to your staff, for making one of the most difficult times in my life a whole lot easier.”
“I’ve got a pup with multiple food allergies all the way in Virginia and have been trying to get a couple of bags of the Nature’s Logic Distinction Sardine Recipe. After trying for weeks to get it ordered to local stores, I came across Healthy Pet’s website and had two bags at my door (along with some extra treats) in just two business days! “We have had such great experiences at Aqua Dome! Their staff are all incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! They’ve been such a wonderful asset to us as we’ve set up a small 10 gallon with fish, and a 2.5 gallon with shrimp! They have great prices and happy and healthier tanks than any of the big box stores in the area. It’s also just a unique place to visit!”

“I usually try to adopt from shelters but if you're not able to this store is also a good option. Their rabbits look healthy and the employee was interacting with them a lot to make sure they get socialized. Everyone there clearly cares for the animals and goes out of their way to make sure you're educated on proper care. They also have a great selection of supplies and this is one of the few in-person stores I can find proper rabbit food at in Austin. The facility itself is also very clean and well kept !”

“Plush Pad is AMAZING! I have been to them for a couple years now with my Six yorkies. The staff is very friendly, communicative and accommodating. I have a busy schedule and pretty much always call last minute to have my pups scheduled and they have always been able to squeeze all of them in on the same day (makes its so much easier for me and the pups).
My boys stress very easily and hate being left anywhere but I can tell they are treated great here because each of them are always so excited to be there. Definitely recommend Plush Pad to everyone!”

From the dog/cat wash to superior treats to the phenomenal staff- nothing else compares.We started coming to the store when the owner was there every day with his sweet pup Biggie. He has cultivated an amazing community. My 13 year old domestic shorthair and my 6 year old Australian Shepherd are both incredibly healthy and youthful and it's all because of healthy pet!Do yourself a favor and order from them or visit in person!”

“This is probably the best dog store I have ever been to anywhere in the country! The owner is really friendly, helpful, and cares about both his customers and their furry friends! We live in Oklahoma and come to this store every time we're in town! If you use his dog bath, he also pulls out all the stops with a fan or heater for the humans (depending temp outside), towels, a hair scrubber, and a pitcher for soapy water. Recommend ?!”
“Such a great team - I was running incredibly late and had no choice but to stop for dog food because we were completely out. I called the Far West location and got Shiela who, while we were on the phone, looked me up, figured out what I needed, and then rang me up over the phone. When I got to the shop they ran it out to the car for me. it saved me so much time, I got to where I was going on time, and she was so friendly and kind about all of it!”

“I came in at the last minute looking for a pet stroller. The 2 men working were so helpful. Not only did they take me right to that section, but offered to (and did!) put it together so that I could make sure it would fit in my trunk.
SO nice of them to do this, especially as they were getting ready to close.
One guy's name was Bear and, unfortunately, I don't remember the other fellow's name. They were both equally fabulous!”
