We had an engine light come on while we were traveling. The owner was awesome! Checked the car, explained the problem, and reassured us that we could make it home. He even had us take a picture of the diagnostic computer for our mechanic at home.

Chris having the best shop in any direction for 100 miles is always busy. My wife turned me on to this shop as she has trusted this man for years. Only draw back is you really need to make an appointment for work because they have enough work for years!!!

My transmission is going out and decided to call Childers to swap it out with a new remanufactured transmission. It's an Acura Tl with a warranty on the Trans. They declined the job...? I asked why, and they said they just "don't work on Acura". I've never heard of a shop declining a job. Especially a plug and play Trans swap.
