“Amazing service. I brought my puppy that had a hematoma on her ear. Another Vet quoted me 800.00. The only reason I even called the other vet is because it was right down the street. I call Critter Amcare animal hospital and was quoted 300. They took amazing care of my dog even tho my dog pooped on the Tech. My dog is an introvert and she actually liked Dr Keidra Carmen and her wonderful Tech. These people took such good care of me everytime I go there. Dr Keidra is so fair with her pricing and try’s to save u money. I was in and out so quick. I recommended this vet to anybody.”

The place is very clean and the staff very friendly.Dr. Vivian Ho and her tech Jodi deserve a special mention for their friendliness and professionalism. It's so rare to find a veterinarian who not only possesses a deep understanding of avian health but also exhibits such patience and dedication. Dr. Ho took the time to thoroughly examine my macaw, carefully checking his physical condition and even taking the time to listen to the bird's heart. “We had such a great experience at Lighthouse Veterinary Clinic! Dr. Kevin Piña is an amazing, kind, and understanding vet. He went above and beyond to save my three year old cat who got very sick and was likely not going to make it when I brought her to him. He got her in very quickly and assured me that he would do everything he could to help save her. We were prepared for the worst, but with his help and expertise she pulled through! He even called me personally to discuss her lab results over the phone and update me on how she was doing as she was getting IV fluids, labs, warming her core body temp, and administering antibiotics. Thankfully she pulled through and is back to normal ? Even after she came home, he followed up to see how she was doing. Thanks again for being so attentive, getting us in quickly and for treating her so well. We had an amazing experience during a stressful time and I couldn’t recommend his care more!!”

“My dog loves Dr. Khan. He was attacked by a Possum and I originally took him to another Vet. Which they didn't explain anything to me and only said he had a hot spot. So I lost confidence and took him to Dr. Khan for a second opinion.Dr. Khan explained that technically a hot spot is dermatitis and the only thing different she'd do is give him a different oral antibiotic. To me though, she did so much more than the other Vet. 1st, she gave me respect by acknowledging my dog had been attacked with puncture wounds. She then actually explained everything to me. Including putting my mind at ease by letting me know possums don't carry Rabies. Something I didn't tell either Vet was I have experience in the medical profession with trauma. I've been a Combat Medic in the US Army, an EMT and work in surgery now. So I know trauma and lazy diagnostic skills when I see it. When the 1st Vet walked in, said "hot spot" and walked out. I knew that wasn't the Vet for my dog or me. In contrast, after my dog saw Dr. Khan and we were leaving the office. My dog Bruno had a huge smile on his face and for the 1st time since the attack. He actually felt better. Which I can't say happened with the 1st Vet. Whatever Dr. Khan at Houston Animal Hospital did. She got a new patient. Along with my other dog and 3 cat as well. Remember, if you want to be treated like more than just a billing opportunity. Go to Houston Animal Hospital and stay away from Dr. Hoffstedder at Alief Animal Hospital.”

“I'm not sure why there's bad reviews about VCA Lexington, I'm a fairly new dog owner (I have a golden doodle who's around 8 months old) ever since she was 10 weeks old she's been going there and it has been a GODSEND. I honestly wish I could rate it more than 5 stars, first off, the receptionist team is extremely helpful and supportive. My dog received her updated shots and didn't react great to it (that & mixed w being car sick) and I called on my way home being concerned and they instantly helped me re-book an appointment within that hour to ensure my puppy was cared for. Also the vets themselves are very helpful when it comes to answering my questions and working with my shy dog. I'm 20 and still have a LOT to learn about dog care and every question I've had they've walked me through it without it feeling condescending or making me confused. Also a lot of people say the vaccination prices are high, but even as a college student I find them affordable. Even with I was driving back after my pup threw up in the backseat I showed up and they gave me clean up supplies and offered to help. Amazing services and I will only be taking my animals there.”

“My baby Bandit became suddenly very sick Christmas Eve 2023, the next morning on Christmas Day I rushed him to this Emergency clinic because my Vet was closed. The staff was wonderful, especially the Lady Doctor (I think her name was Devan), she knew how sick he was (viral pneumonia) & how upset I was. We spent 4 hours there while they stabilized him & was ready to go home to see my Vet the next morning. I cannot thank all of the people who saved my baby & will be forever grateful. I would definitely recommend Sugarland 24 hour Vet emergency care to anyone. 10 star facility & staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
