Receptionist/office staff is not compassionate or kind. I wish I didn’t have to write this review I feel like I’ve given Dr Sanders office many chance but here we are. As a Doctor I believe Dr Sanders and Heidi are great this has more to do with their office stay and availability. Over the last few years we have needed. Same day appointment for sickness and we call the phone line at 8 am to see if there are any cancellations. I believe once we got in for a same day. This last week my husband has had several back issues and needs a MRI and a PT referral. We called last week and they didn’t have an appointment for 2 weeks. So we went to an urgent care but they can’t prescribe a MRI or PT. So today I called office starting at 8 am (I called 35 times over and over to try to get in) at 8:04 I was put on hold and then told they had no appointments at all for today or until the end of the week. I really honestly begged and pleaded and shared how much pain my husband is in and that we really need help. We are trying to avoid going to the ER because we do not have that extra expenses available at this time. The receptionist was rude and basically said they were an office with other patients and that she could not help us. I was on the verge of tears just asking her to be human and help us. I feel like time and time again the receptionist just sees her job as plugging people into appointments and I think it’s a missed opportunity. She is the first one people talk to when they are in need and her end side manor is horrible. I know doctors offices are a business and they have to have set schedules and boundaries etc. but someone with a little more compassion and kidness could go a long way. Again this is just one situation of many. We will now be on the hunt for a new GP and I would love to think that their office would care about that but I don’t actaully think they will notice or concerned we are leaving.

I had a complicated panic disorder issue that I acquired after a concussion. It interfered with my work and took all pleasure away from my life. I explained to Dr. Sanders that I did not want to rely on anxiety medications, which had not worked well for me. He prescribed bisoprolol fumarate to me and explained we could try suppressing the symptoms instead. I found that this medication worked great, and made my symptoms manageable. Later, I came down with COVID-19 and he quickly prescribed me Paxlovid, which I got for free through a waiver on their website. Dr. Sanders' practice has been a blessing to me.

I've been seeing Dr. Sanders for several years now. I would give him and his staff 10 stars if it were an option.Dr. Sanders always take the time needed to explain anything to me I need. His staff is friendly and always happy to help me when I call or have questions.I will continue to drive from League City to his office so I have the comfort of knowing I am seeing a Dr. who truly cares, understands, and supports his patients.

Dr . Sanders has a wonderful bedside manner. No matter how upset I am about my health he has a unique way of reassuring me that everything can be worked out. He actually listens to his patients.
