I went to Raquel on 2/28/20 wanting to dye my hair blonde. As soon as she sat me down the first thing I told her is I do not want you to leave my hair yellow or orange, I want it blonde. Well she left it orange, she said that my hair only took it to that and not lighter. I went back to her on 2/29/20 because the orange color wasn’t sitting well with me and I felt my hair looked bad so she said she will bleach it and put a blonde color in it. While she was doing my hair with the bleach, I kept telling her it burns even to the point of asking her to stop and give me time because it was burning so bad I wanted to cry. Her excuse was oh it’s the bleach it is normal. I get home and take a look at my scalp and sure enough it was burns, I’m not saying it was just red, I literally had burns on my scalp some even had blood! I will never go back here and will be returning only to get my money back!!!

Don’t get any hair work here, they may know how to cut some hair, but for mayor hair work like hair dye they know absolutely nothing, you will end up with terrible work and regret ruin your hair. I can’t even post a picture because it was so bad that I have to go somewhere else to fix the mess Raquel made. She is not cheap and she isn’t good at all.

Well, I wanted to love this place. It looks really nice and clean. I made an appointment with one person and they scheduled me with someone else. They notified me of this when I came in. The girl who did my hair was obviously new because I requested balayage and she did highlights and cut it way too short. I told her that I put my hair up in a pony tail regularly and she still cut it too short. This is not cool being a mom of two babies. I also got my hair dyed and it washed out literally after one wash with color safe shampoo. Being charged $90 extra for a color that literally only lasted one wash is bogus. My hair looks awful now and it's horrible that I had to pay $300 for what I'm left with.

The salon itself is in a very nice area, the staff is very kind. I am giving them one star because my hair simply just does not look good... at all. I am not the type to kick a fuss, and call the manager so I put a smile on, nodded, paid then cried when I got in the car. To make matters worse, when I went to work my coworkers were even like "Awww what happened?" Yea... that bad. I paid $220 for a balayage. I got unblended, uneven strands. I have gotten my hair balayaged before with great results but I moved. This can't even be called a balayage. She was really sweet.... but man did she mess my hair up. I could've done this myself and saved my $220 dollars. I'm so mad at myself for even paying that much. I will post photos bc they speak volumes. They use a ring light after they wand your hair to take photos and it's not how your hair ACTUALLY looks in natural lighting and when it's not curled! BIG DIFFERENCE, that's how stylists hide imperfections. I debated whether or not to post this review but now I have to shell out more money for a color correction and ugh.... what a disappointment.

In town for the summer and needed a cut. My stylist was extremely brash, aggressive, and sassy. While she did a good job, she still cut off way more than I had asked and blow dried my hair when I had not booked it. Therefore, when I brought this up to the cashier she went to go speak to the stylist. She continued to charge me until I brought it up again and then a manager stepped in to apologize and comped me. While the stylist was extremely experienced, I would not book her again for the fact that she honestly stressed me out for fear of pissing her off in response to any of her rude comments toward me. Heard good things about this salon, but looks like I will be looking elsewhere next time.

I have been going to this salon for like 7 or 8 years solely for Hanadi. Hanadi is super sweet and simply a gem! I visit her for waxing services and in my opinion, she is by far the best. I have also gotten some good massages at this location and they are very reasonably priced. My only complaint is that the receptionist staff is not the friendliest, and the prices are constantly increasing for the waxing services. If it weren't for Hanadi, I would most likely find another salon for waxing services with better prices.
