James came out to my house onetime and explained the wine fridge situation in detail. I received the follow-up quote on time, and got an additional communication that I needed to dispose of the old wine fridge quickly. They are responsive both during the original visit which was scheduled quickly, and the follow-up. I was impressed with the knowledge base that the tech, James had.

This business is an absolute farce. Please note how EVERY SINGLE negative review is someone else's fault. The reply posted to the newest review is an absolute lie. I was there, present in the home and literally none of that happened, except the clearly cut wiring harness. His trainee likely made a mistake and rather than simply fixing the issue, which would have been perfectly acceptable, he covered up the mistake and then lied. And continues to do so. Notice the patterns in the replies, and decide for yourself.

The service technician for Masterminds of Appliance diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator and indicated the compressor needs to be replaced. I contacted LG this morning and they agreed to provide the compressor and dryer at no charge. LG sent the authorization e-mail to Masterminds of Appliances this morning. When I followed up with Masterminds of Appliances they refused to order the needed parts unless I paid for them in advance. I was not able to get them to understand LG will supply the parts for free. So we have no path forward to repair our refrigerator.UPDATE: 16 June 1:00 PMService manager contacted me and assured me he will contact LG to verify the parts can be shipped at no cost to Masterminds of Appliances. The situation appears to be resolved.

After a terrible experience with a prior service provider, Masterminds of Appliances got the job done and 100% knew exactly what they were doing. I have a Uline Ice Machine that requires a knowledgeable service provider. He took the time to explain how the level sensors can be triggered during cleaning cycles, how to avoid that, what to look for in the case of an actual leak, etc. On more than one occasion they have done great work for me without trying to upsell or up charge for anything. I will only use their services for any appliance repair in the future.
