Honestly, Dr. Peña is the best vet in this world, very caring , considerate, knowledgeable, and kind.
His treatment plan is very accurate, and no guessing.

I brought my Siberian Husky, Zulu, to Lighthouse Veterinary Clinic for dental consultation, and I couldn’t be more grateful for Dr. Pina and his team. Dr. Pina took the time to explain how sensitive Siberian Huskies are to anesthesia and advised against a teeth cleaning procedure for Zulu. After a thorough check-up, he reassured me that Zulu didn’t actually need the cleaning. What really stood out was that Dr. Pina didn’t even charge for the check-up or the office visit. The care, honesty, and professionalism from the whole team were exceptional. Lighthouse will definitely be my go-to clinic from now on. I highly recommend them to anyone who truly cares about their pets!

Extremely well knowledgeable veterinarians and tech staff! They’ve been looking over my family’s senior dog, and she’s doing much better with her seizure medication! Thank you.
So far as my personal experience, Dr. Peńa did a thorough analysis of our 6-year old cats, and we have never experienced that in-depth of an eval, and it was a very informative experience for us as pet parents.
I called yesterday because this stray kitten I rescued ate the tip of the bottle when we tried to feed her. It happened so fast because she was ravenous, we called the clinic immediately and they allowed us a walk-in. I was thankful for that because it was an emergency, and we didn’t have to wait for hours for the next slot. Besides the x-ray to locate the foreign object, due to her age and weight, they didn’t feel comfortable inducing vomiting, nonetheless surgery. Currently still a waiting game, but the prebiotic is helping her flush all the other grime she ate before I found her, God willing the bottle tip by tonight!
I feel embarrassed that I allowed this to happen, but apparently it’s common and they reassured me that they feel confident she will pass it on her own, so long as we provide belly rubs and continued feeding of kitten milk.
I’m thankful for the staff for their continued efforts to do the upmost when handling pet care, emergencies, and helping us stay informed and responsible. You guys rule!

So I’ve been coming to Light House for 8 years seeing Dr. Peña. He has Always been my primary for Hazel. The amount of care and knowledge he has is amazing. He always takes the time to make sure any questions or concerns I have are answered. The staff is always so friendly and so nice. I feel like this clinic isn’t one to over charge. Dr. Peña has always been very reasonable and I appreciate that so much. I will continue to bring all my furniture animals to this amazing facility. The office is always clean and everyone always has a smile of their face. I feel very happy with this place!

February 14, 2024 I put my dog Jingles down at lighthouse. The staff were very kind and loving as my sweet boy passed peacefully by euthanasia. I appreciate everything the staff did to help get my sweet jingles over the rainbow bridge. They do an amazing job with vet care. I take my 3 cats there and they just know how to take care of my babies. The staff has done nothing but show they truly care about our pets and just animals in general❤️

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Piña since he worked at Richmond animal hospital which is about 7+ years ago or maybe even more. He’s been seeing my dog since he was a puppy and my dog is now 12 years old. Dr. Piña is so intelligent, he’s always cured my pup from whatever he’s experiencing. He’s very patient and actually does a thorough physical exam on your pet, and takes all his time answering any questions you have. His staff has always been very kind, gentle , and helpful as well. I always appreciate his amazing customer service. I’ve been to plenty of other veterinary clinics but no one else is even close to Lighthouse Vet!

I learned about Lighthouse when I was fostering. They love pets and help the rescue community and I took my fosters there to get spayed. I kept two of the fosters and continued taking them to Dr. Pina. Dr. Pina is soo genuine and caring and never ever seems rushed when he's with my dogs. He puts a lot of thought into his care. I live in Houston and drive 30 minutes to see Dr. Pina. In the 6 years I did try another highly recommended vet nearby my house thinking it would be easier on them and me with a short 5 minute drive and after the first visit I was reminded of how sensible and gifted Dr. Pina is as a vet. They recommended more vaccines than Dr. Pina and were pushing for other treatments. He is much more cautious and doesn't prescribe any unless absolutely necessary. I will never test out anyone else again. They're also fairly priced..

After trying out many different big brand vet clinics the first year I rescued my dog Kobe, I was craving more of a personal care experience that only a family-owned business can provide. I am so happy I was able to find Lighthouse. The staff are wonderful, patient, and kind. I appreciate having someone actually answer the phone and taking the time to thoughtfully answer any concerns. The prices are transparent and reasonable. Appointment times are honored - rarely have I experienced any delays. The app is so helpful in easily setting up appointments and checking up on upcoming shots. Most importantly, my Kobe is comfortable and treated with respect!

Everyone was very kind and helpful. Henry liked Dr. Pina and he put Henry and I at ease during the whole visit. Dr. Pina and his vet techs were patient and answered all my questions. The ladies at the front desk were also very kind and helpful. A great group of people and a calm place to take your pet!

Beware, if you do not have a good experience here the staff will harass you with their corporate non medical staff. They regularly manipulate their ratings and spend more time on their reviews than actually properly addressing issues with their shady business practices. I understand that the corporate owners are from Florida, so they might want to look into Texas's anti SLAPP laws before threatening my friend with false accusations of cyberbullying.
