Sunday at 12p sat in line for 30 minutes to buy 1 zipper. 2 people working with a line of 10 behind me. Never again! This is why Amazon is killing retail stores

This store has gone down since opening. I used to go in at least twice a week. The display at the beginning of the scrap book paper has had the same items on it for months. Or it has a few items and the rest is bare. Constantly have boxes in the aisle. People continue to go since their really isn't anywhere else. There is a female manager who is rude, doesn't ask if you need help or just ignores you. Three stars is a gift.

It says the hours were updated 2 weeks ago by the business, so I thought it was safe to arrive by 8pm. Only for them to close at 8 lol. This is a great location but seems like a ton of people are having problems with the hours...

It is 7:44 p.m. I am in front of Jo-Ann Fabrics Google says they're open till 9:00 p.m. well guess what they're not. You might want to know their store hours they close at 7:00 p.m. they might want to update their Google! You've got a ticked off customer and wanted to pick up their order and I can't get it. thank you for the inconvenience. Who closes at 7:00 p.m. every night? Covid is over folks get over it. Waste of my time and gas neither which I have plenty of.

Web site says they are open until 9. we arrived shortly before 8 and the employee near the door told us they closed in 4 minutes! They need to update their web site.

I just drove here, only to find a sign saying it's temporarily closing at 6pm. Didn't say how long these temporary hours will last, and management didn't bother changing the hours on Google either! Wasted time and gas.So what I'm going to do now is buy the embroidery supplies I came here for on Amazon. It's MUCH cheaper there, but I tried to support a local business first. I don't know what's going on with this location and don't care, they'll never get a penny from me again.

I drove over 30 miles to this location because the product I needed was supposedly in stock. I got to this location today, 7/29/2023 at 7:15pm, just to see a sheet of paper posted on their door saying that they closed at 6 pm instead of their regular 9 pm. While I’ve been sitting here for the past half an hour trying to find a nearby store that might have the item available for me, I’ve seen over 20 people try to approach the store to be just as confused and disappointed as I was. BIG MISTAKE. What a waste of my time ?

Their opening hours are 10am not 9am. They haven't changed it on their website or on Google. Very inconvenient. We just go to Hobby Lobby now.

Bought a brand new Sewing machine, only opened the box and it wasn’t the one my mom needed so I went back to return it within a week of purchasing. After explaining to the assistant Store Manager that the machine was not used and the box was just opened she refused to accept the return and informed us about a “new” policy that Joann’s just enforced recently. The ASM was super rude and disrespectful to me and my mom because we requested to return the brand new sewing machine. We even had the receipt and told her how long it’s been since it was purchased, and everything was intact. Instead of politely telling us there was nothing that she could do she kept talking down on us and told us to go sell the machine online when we asked if we could get a store credit or if we can speak to someone else….talking down to a customer is bad for business and Joann’s will definitely lose customers for their policies that don’t make sense. You can’t blindly make a purchase such a sewing machine and not be able to return it just because the box was opened.

Online in store pickup, went to pick up and on the way there a sales agent called and said I could no longer do curbside b/c I was not currently outside the store. I received a text asking me to mark when I was on my way, which I did. I was under the impression since they texted me they had functionality similar to other stores where they can track your progress to the store. I was three minutes away and was told I needed to come inside, which was fine. Upon arrival I went inside and noticed that one of the items I had ordered was not the correct size based what was stated online. Bernadine came to the front and told me that there was nothing to do but refund. She would not let me go to the back to find the correct size and swap nor would she go to the back to find the correct size. When I showed her the size in comparison to the others I had ordered of the same size all she did was refer to the UPC code, which I told her I understood but the dimensions were obviously incorrect and all she did was shrug, again with no other option than to refund. She was abrasive, rude and had no desire to make things right with the purchase. She was acting like she did not have time for this and she was rushing and very short and kept referring to the UPC. She should not be a front facing customer service. Her skills are seriously lacking and she has a serious chip on her shoulder. The most unfortunate thing is that this is the store that makes the most sense to shop from any other store is a much further drive, but am now considering it may be worth the drive to avoid this truly horrible employee. I for one have no desire to go back to this store for anything.
