Half Price Books is a well maintained store with a wide variety of books, offering great prices at half the suggested MSRP or lower. It is a great place to find just about any book, with a really good history section and good fantasy, manga, puzzle, and D&D sections. The store also sells items like toys and collectibles and has a kid reading section. It is also a great place to sell books, CDs, and DVDs. While you should not expect a killer offer, it is better than donating items, and sometimes offers are surprisingly good due to demand. The staff is usually very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and nice. They handle business quickly. Currently, the store is buying from the public with limited hours and quantity restrictions of three bags or two medium boxes.

Half Price Books is simply the best of times. A bookstore is my happy place, and being here provides enough variety and scope to get lost in my myriad interests and passions.
