First Colony Montessori, is first and foremost a family. Entrusting my two little ones with the nurturing and caring teachers at First Colony Montessori was not a difficult choice. I have been very impressed with the growth and independence of my children as they progressed from the Infant, Toddler 1, Toddler 2, and Primary classes. The classes extend beyond the core classes, and the children are given the opportunity to engage in extracurriculars like art, dance, sports, yoga, and music to name a few. My toddlers explored each of the facets and always came home wanting more! I cannot recommend better teachers, administrative staff, curriculum than what is offered at First Colony Montessori South.

Great team from the top director Mrs. Russel to all the assistants and teachers. I have seen a large improvement in my child's development with their help. They host many activities that are designed for enrichment and learning. I can tell my kid loves going and loves his teachers including Mrs. Ana and Breanna.

My family has been a part of FCMS for 4 years. The teachers are exceptional as they are warm and loving as well as meet the needs of my children academically. The communication between home and school is fantastic. I love that lunch is included in tuition and we receive a weekly menu. My kids have also enjoyed the extra programs the school has arranged, like soccer, art and dance. FCMS is a truly wonderful place.

First Colony Montessori has been a blessing for our family.Ms. Laura and her dedicated staff (Ms. Ana, Ms. Jenny) have been wonderful. It's been 3 months that our son (20 months) has been going to FCMS and we see a world of a difference in how independent he has become and continues to do so. Ms. Ana is very patient and engaging with the children and they love her. She took a lot of trouble to get our son used to the school since this was his first. Now he looks forward to going to school everyday. As parents we are always in the loop with what is going on with our son (emails, newsletters, cameras), so it puts us at ease as well. We toured around quite a bit before we decided on FCMS and so glad we made this decision.Would definitely recommend FCMS many times over.

Highly recommend First Colony Montessori! My son was in the toddler program and he absolutely loved his teachers. We consistently saw him practicing new things that he had learned at school and responding very well to the Montessori method when we check in on the cameras. The teachers and staff are all very caring and welcoming. This was my son's third daycare and after a previous bad experience I was very nervous to find another school for him and I am so happy that we went with FCMS!

2nd time writing a review for this center.My daughter attended the 3 yr old program and I was Happy with her teachers. I am that parent that watches the Video camera as much as possible. There is a teacher in the toddler room who was being rough with the little ones and I reported It to the director Laura. Laura mentioned she reported what I saw on the video camera to licensing. Parents please be careful and always watch your children and research the daycare for violations. My daughter no longer attends this school.

My son has been attending first colony Montessori since August 2020 & we absolutely LOVE this Montessori. We are both so so so attached to our little 2 year old & and did many tours at different schools etc but nothing compared to first colony south. We love the ability to see him interacting and learning at school, we are given updates every afternoon on meals, what skills were mastered & gone over, as well as info on diaper changes & pictures throughout the day. I can't say enough great things about it. The staff is so friendly & sweet & we are just so grateful to have found this hidden gem! definitely recommend.

What a hidden gem! I have visited many montessori schools and even the learning experience place and nothing is compared to first colony montessori! My son has been attending this school since August or September 2019 and I've seen a lot improvement from my son. Mrs. Ana and Mrs. Nicole are wonderful teachers. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for my son and my family. What I love most about this school are the teachers. You can see that they enjoy their job, they love children, and the best part is they are like family here. They are very friendly, caring and they take great care of your children. Mrs. Jennifer is also super friendly! She gets to know your child and the parents. Because of her personality and the staff here, I had to sign up! I knew instantly that my son will be in good hands! They also send pictures and reports daily. I look forward to seeing my sons picture every day and see what he has learned on the daily basis. They also give you reports on their potty training and how much your child has eaten. I just wish I knew about this place sooner when my son was an infant!

I have only great things to say about FCMS! My 3 year-old has attended FCMS for a little over a year and is thriving. It is a wonderful school with amazing staff that goes above and beyond. The teachers are fantastic and truly care about each child's development. The Montessori way has proven very effective for my toddler and she is continuously learning new things. I highly recommend FCMS for any parent looking for a great education and child care.

Preschool teachers play an important role in building a child's success in their first years of school. We wanted a supportive, nurturing, and challenging environment that rewards independence, kindness to others, and hard work with education with compassion and creativity. I was very impressed by your teacher in class P1 and my my child always looked forward to school and loved the idea that his interests and curiosity were respected and allowed to drive his daily choices. I will totally recommend this school and his teacher. You won't regret !

My son transferred from MKU, where he was holding my legs and crying and not let me go. But at this school, he is happy every day and walks in all by himself and eager to come even at night or weekends! So glad we changed to this school. The teachers are being with this school for decades. Very experienced and love the children. My son is happy and learns a lot! He talks many many full sentences now, he is just 2 years old and 2 months!And the food is delicious too!

It truly has been a great experience bringing my daughter to First Colony Montessori South. My daughter has vastly improved with her interactions with others and speech, she always looks forward to coming to school. All staff that we had the pleasure of interacting with over the last 8 months have been wonderful. We have always been able to openly communicate concerns, compliments, needs and requests without any issues.
