Had to do a return ( first time ever) and the young lady Suria was pleasant and tried to do the return. I was given a receipt that showed zeros and questioned it, she reviewed and saw that see made a mistake and called for management, what happened next it short of feeling attacked. The assistant manager Lonnie treated the cashier as an incompetent servant and did not allow her to explain her mistake and saying zeros if even exchange, duh listen instead of acting as the end all be all!, and informed her to take other customers and went to another register with my receipt. I tried to explain twice what Suria was trying to tell him and was automatically cut off by saying I don't need you to say it three times..
WHAT?? I told him it was two as he became combative refusing to understand what the issue was to resolve it, I had to say, what is your problem Lonnie with another customer trying to come to my rescue of being verbally attacked. I turned and told her thank you. By then Lonnie is trying to plea with say he is suppose to be here, and he just got a call that his sister tried to kill herself and he has a lot going on( saying all of this to the customer who intervene) and usually the nice on?? I said we all have thing going on. This does not justify his behavior!! I have never been treated like this before of feeling that I had to braced myself for a confrontation of being abused. This was my second time at this location in 4 year and I will never shop dollar tree again.

Best things to buy at dollar tree: toothpaste. Eye drops. Holiday paraphernalia. Deodorant. Shampoo/soap. Way cheaper than even Walmart.

Don't wanna be Negative but some people on their comments when they mention by calling to ask for some information this lady answers and after that she's saying having some bad connection. Or basically she cannot hear very well well story short is. I'm not sure if the manager told her to say that or maybe they've been getting a lot of calls because customers want to know by any chance if. They have some items in stock. My advice is just go in person don't be calling don't not waste your time. If I'm probably right that might happen in other locations???♂️??☯️

I called this store today several times it is 04/26/2023 at 7:50 pm a black lady kept answering the phone and saying she couldn’t hear me and that we have a bad connection so I called from 2 different phones and she just kept saying she couldn’t hear me and we have a bad connection she was definitely being funny and playing on the phone I recognize her voice and it’s the lady who was working on register 2 she has short hair this is a problem because I couldn’t get help over the phone
