“Have not been to Hot Topic in awhile. But my visit was indifferent. The store had a few customers and two employees were at the register. The clothes were not folded (some on the floor), and figures scattered across the store in odd places.
When I went to make an inquiry about a product the employee I had came into contact with was not friendly at all to say the least. She had an attitude and was very unpleasant.
I went to the second employee for answers and they were very helpful, answered all my questions and made a sale.
When I asked them the issue of the other employee, was told that Claudia was an employee with special needs and Hot topic is open to hire anyone in need. Was informed that her legal guardians had to even brush her teeth for her since she refused (which I believed because her mouth was full of plaque, yellow stained and crooked).
I should've known from her mannerism, slurred words, lack of communication skills and drool leaking from her mouth.
I am grateful to be served by a helpful employee and I am also grateful that the Hot Topic company is open and hiring those with disabilities.”

“We had the most enjoyable time shopping for my daughter's prom dress! The ladies are extremely helpful, sweet, professional, just enjoyable to be around. There was one thing disappointing. Customers trying on dresses and leaving them piled up in the dressing rooms. They could of at least put them on a hanger after trying them on, no consideration for the employees. The employees were like moms cleaning up after their little kids. I totally recommend this place but please be considerate and respectful just put the clothes back or hang on a hanger properly.”

They helped me pick out two pairs of jeans and were overall super helpful and so nice. “With Amazon making it so easy to shop from the comfort of any desired space I forget the benefits of going into an actual store . As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Ari (hope I spelled her name right ..pretty red curly hair) she legit held it down giving fashion advise to customers and all. They were all very nice the cashier's were so observant offered accessories in a natural way without sounding pushy. From beginning to end the service was on point there was a guy at the register (unfortunately I did not get his name but I'm almost sure he was the manager) he made small talk while also informing me about the style and fit of the shirt I was looking at, again very natural and organic he made sure to make a memorable moment. I don't get out much and can be a bit socially awkward so it felt really good to converse with the staff and I feel motivated to get out more so thank you to the staff at this rue 21please continue displaying your authentic selves and awesome teamwork it is very much needed and appreciated .?”

“Good afternoon I used to really love your chain stores. but several times when I visit, I see that the quality of goods has decreased, the choice has become smaller, and the area of the store has also become smaller. This may be due to cost cutting. I understand correctly? but the impression from the store is a little sad. I usually left with full shopping bags. Last time I bought only one sweatshirt for my husband... and didn’t find anything interesting for myself. and it also seemed to me that the increased number of advertisements interferes with the perception of the trading floor as a whole, creating the impression of a flea market. but perhaps this is my personal impression. although the garbage bag in which our purchase was packed made a depressing impression on me. I was ashamed to leave the store, as if I had emptied a trash can. I paid money for the pleasure of shopping, but not for garbage... and where did the cashiers go? Several cash desks used to work. now, if you're lucky, there are two, but usually one. Going to the store should be fun, don't you agree? But you yourself deprive us buyers of this pleasure, and therefore you lose our money.”
