I was very impressed with the assistance given to me. I felt welcomed and appreciated immediately I entered the store. All associates, most especially Mr Cat who was very wonderful, and the manager were available and waiting to answer my questions and concerns. The prices of the furniture are truly, really great bargain. Love, love, love the people and Ashley’s Furniture.

My fiancé and I went into Ashley’s to buy all brand new furniture over a month and a half ago as we just purchase a new house. Other than being followed everywhere by one of the associates, everything was fine. We paid for 7 items all upfront including delivery. We have countless confirmations all all furniture will be delivered that day. The day comes, we receive half the items. No communication from anyone, we communicate with and he was rude, told me not to call him, to only text “past 10am to not disrupt him” and they have no idea what happened and when our furniture will be in. Attempting to follow up with said associate, blocking all my calls and texts. Mind you this is all our bedroom furniture, we have no place to sleep. We call the store and it says the expected delivery date is September 10th, 3 weeks from our delivery date. Ashley’s made my exciting new furniture process into a nightmare. Horrible customer service and we have no idea where or when our pre bought furniture is being delivered.

I purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture about a month ago, and I was assured multiple times by the salesman that all of my items would be delivered on the specific date I requested. Since I had to take time off work to be home for the delivery, I made sure to confirm this with the salesman several times.
On the day of delivery, I was shocked to find out from the delivery drivers—not the store—that not all of my furniture would be arriving. The drivers read off a list of items they were bringing in, which is how I indirectly learned that several pieces were missing.
When I reached out to the salesman, he started responding, but only with vague promises that he would "look into it" without providing any real information. At one point, the automated system gave us a new delivery date, but when I asked him about it, he just said the date was wrong and didn’t clarify whether we would receive the furniture earlier or later. This lack of communication has been extremely frustrating.
To make matters worse, we’ve just moved into our new house and are currently sleeping on the floor because the bed we ordered still hasn’t been delivered. We relied on Ashley Furniture’s promise to have our furniture delivered on time, and now we’re left in a very uncomfortable situation. Although the furniture we have received so far is of good quality, the poor customer service and delivery experience have overshadowed everything.
On top of all this, I paid $400 for their delivery service, which has been nothing but a hassle from start to finish. If you're considering buying furniture from Ashley, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE!!!

Don’t buy from this store and don’t buy insurance for your furniture with them either. I bought furniture from here before that got a stain, I called the warranty company out and they couldn’t get the Stain out so they refunded me for the couch but gave the money to Ashley furniture. I went there multiple times looking for furniture and asked the staff about my balance. They said it was all good and I have nothing to worry about, I finally decided on a couch I wanted and went in for the them to tell me they no longer saw the credit on my account and there was nothing they could do. Apparently the refund had an expiration date on it that neither the warranty company told me about or Ashley furniture. When I expressed how upset I was the manager told me that I should’ve read the fine print on the paper for a couch I bought 2 years ago and that there was nothing they could do. I called the insurance company and they stated that they gave Ashley the money and that it is up to Ashley to give me the refund back or not. Of course Ashley is going to pocket the money and not issue a refund. Never shopping here again. Scam artist, they won’t even try to make anything right and they won’t even admit wrong doing. If I didn’t care about it and I left the money to expire then fine but I kept calling and went the store multiple times To check in on it and make sure things were okay for this to happen.

Beware if you order via Ashley's website. I placed an order online for a desk for my daughter on a Sunday evening. The website gave me an error and said it could not process the order. So, I naively went to a different web browser, tried again, and then got the same message. I decided to wait and go into a physical store rather than try again. Well, about an hour later I got two email confirms that both orders were processed for the same items. I tried futility to cancel the orders online - that does not work. I never got a response, even a week later. So the next day, Monday, I called Ashley. I was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to cancel both orders - I was told it was too late because the orders had shipped. The representative told me to simply tell the driver to return the orders when the desks were delivered because my account had been noted. Well, turns out, I never got a tracking number until the next day; clearly the order did not ship when the representative said it did. What is more, the driver dropped the desks in my driveway at 10:19PM on Thursday night! I only found the desks the next morning. Now, I am paying return shipping for both of these items after again spending thirty minutes on the phone.

Very poor service. Order placed, delayed delivery. Managers refuse to return calls. I’ve purchased lots of furniture all over the city and every single one delivered within less than five days—some even the next day. Prices and service are less than par and they do not care to resolve a concern.

Recently visited this store to shop for a bedroom set and not a soul greeted me. There was 1 customer in the entire store with approximately 4 employees (that I could see).
At 1st I thought it was because I was a young, black woman with gym clothes (I visited after my session) not sure but I found it to be very disrespectful. I even asked one of the men a question about the furniture and he said there were 100 on the floor and showed me nothing.
Coming from NJ to Sugarland I am shocked and appalled. #nevergoingbackagain
