I LOVED the services, product, and vibes at A&P!
I got the anti frizz treatment and liquid luster done. Before this treatment I felt sooo lost about how I was going to fix my hair, it was so brittle and dry. The moment Anita had finished rinsing the product out of my hair, I could literally feel the difference of the texture. It FINALLY felt smooth and looked shiny again! I got a blow out done right after from Zach, and the confidence had me feeling main character vibes again!
Their treatment included a booster treatment that you use in place of your conditioner once a week, unfortunately they had run out, but as soon as they got a restock (a few days later), Anita messaged me and told me to drop to take home. The quality of service makes you feel really nice! This is a must try salon! Thank you Anita and Zach for making me feel pretty again!!!

I found Ashford & Parker online thru tremendous reviews, so I would like to leave my own. With my one week in Houston, I was able to schedule a consultation and trim with Shamim on Wednesday and come back on Friday for my color session. I had an amazing experience and all of the staff were very sweet and professional. Ms Shamim answered all of my dark curly hair questions about everyday care and was super attentive.?I had a great experience and will recommend my boyfriend and anyone seeking quality service and results in the Sugar Land area. If you’re not sure if your hair goals are achievable, I highly recommend scheduling a consultation! Shamim will provide you with realistic but solid advice! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I hope I can come and revisit Shamim and the team soon?

I came here for the first time last week, for a haircut, and had a PERFECT experience from the time that I walked in to the moment I checked out. The studio has such a relaxing, CLEAN, and calm vibe. The cherry on top was that my stylist, Devona, slayed my haircut? I showed her a picture of my inspiration, and she nailed it! As a retired high-end hair artist, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A&P Hair Studio.

This is long overdue, but if you’re looking for a beautiful salon with an ultra talented stylist look no further than Anita!
I’m a high maintenance client, picky and have that frizzy curly hair. I come for blow-outs and curling often. Anita knows how to work a blow dryer, makes sure that she hits the roots and smooths the hair. I come out feeling like a million bucks.
She’s meticulous and listens to feedback. Love her and this beautiful salon!

Great, modern salon with products that feel great and feel good and not heavy on my hair. Inside it feels more upscale than my previous salon while still feeling cozy, and the staff are great. Zack always takes the time to listen to what I'm thinking, tosses in his own ideas, and then we have a blast experimenting and changing my look. I always love the end result and trust him to make my hair look amazing every time. So glad to have this salon nearby, and shout-out to Zack for keeping my hair at its best!

Absolutely the most gorgeous salon I’ve ever been to! Owner is fabulous, very hands on, her stylist Zack Cano is superb! He guided me in the right direction and took my hair to a whole level of beautiful I’ve never experienced before! The products they use made my hair feel and look so healthy and head turning gorgeous! Thank you for this experience I will be back, for all my styling needs!
Stylist: Zack was fantastic, he went above and beyond fulfilling the look I wanted! I will continue to use him for all my styling needs! He literally knew exactly how to achieve my desired look!

I love my haircut my stylist was Anita she is trustworthy I have long hair and asked for two inches off and she only cut 2 inches. I trusted her with my first time getting layers and curtain bangs and she did not disappoint. She also shows you how to style ur hair and what to put in it.

Update to the salon's response: No one recommended the owner. I don't know where you got that from. I saw someone post your salon on their story and booked an appointment.. I didn't have a convo about it with them. Going through my mutuals on IG to reach out to people is weird tho. However, you and I had a conversation days before my appointment where I sent you pics. You could've been transparent about your stylists ability. Or asked me to change the stylist. I even let the stylist know if the inspo pic weren't working we could do something else. She said she only knew how to do blowouts...not something I want to find out an hour into the appointment. I've had my hair styled for $30 and $160. Price doesn't effect whether curls stay or not?Again, never had prior issues w expectations or results. You and I both know how that appointment went but there's still no accountability I see. You can keep the money. It's about the principal and you handled this poorly despite your changed tone on this review response.

I was so excited to find this salon for my friends wedding event. It was near the venue and the reviews looked promising!
Unfortunately, I had the worst luck and absolutely hated my experience. I sent pictures of the style I wanted ahead of time and only found out the day of the appointment that the stylist I booked was unable to style my hair the way I wanted. I asked for curls and a half up half down style. Something very basic in my opinion so I booked a level 2 stylist. The owner never told me that stylist would be unable to do that style nor did she recommend another stylist after seeing the pictures I sent.
On the day of the appointment, an hour into the appointment, half of my hair was not curled or the curls were falling out. Also, my hair had been tied and untied several times because the stylist was using small clear plastic elastics and struggled to part the sections of my hair. My hair was literally being pulled out and I could see that I'd have to do my own hair. I asked the stylist if she could just check me out at the register because I didn't want to waste anymore time.
The owner stepped in between her own appointment to curl and tie my hair because she could see how much the other stylist was struggling. I think the owner spent a maximum of 10 minutes to tie my hair and re-curl some pieces before leaving the rest to the other stylist. The stylist continued to poorly curl pieces of my hair. Finally, I paid and rushed out to make it to my makeup appointment and eventually had to do my own hair for the event. There was so much hairspray in my hair that even re-doing my curls was difficult. Any other day I would've gotten over it but I'm really sad it happened the day of my friends wedding.
I called the salon after the wedding event to let them know about my experience and requested a refund but the owner was so argumentative and defensive. She blamed my hair texture, the weather, and everything else under the sun for my experience. She said she's done hair long enough to know it wasn't their fault yet also said all her clients need several touch ups throughout the night?? It didn't make any sense. I've gotten my hair professionally done so many times throughout my life and never had this problem.
The owner even told me the stylist who did my hair was taken off the list for updo styles because she needed more practice. It was clearly a learning experience for the stylist and the salon but why am I paying for the lesson? If we both agree the stylist was not qualified or able to style hair, a customer should not have to pay for that. Especially if the efforts to fix it were unsuccessful and rushed between other appointments. Although I appreciated the owner stepping in to salvage the style, I don't think it's fair to charge me $70 for 10 minutes of your time. Especially when I just had to redo my ow
