We have taken all three of our pups to Animal Hospital Highway 6 for a couple years now. They are the best! Without a doubt, highest level of care, friendliness, and efficiency I've seen. They do such a great job. They get our pups in for appointments fast, explain everything in detail, and just do a wonderful job. Thank you!

Animal Hospital Highway 6 has taken excellent care of all of our pets since 1983. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been with Animal Hospital Hwy 6 for more than 20 years! They have taken fantastic care of all of my sweet furries. They are very friendly, professional, and efficient. Dr. Driever has helped me keep new family furries healthy, and helped me say my last goodbye to an old sweet golden. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who wants a friendly atmosphere, long term staff, and fantastic doctors.

I have taken my dogs to Animal Hospital Highway 6 for more than 25 years. I have sent numerous friends, colleagues, and family members for both routine and semi acute of their animals. For the last ten years I have lived more than 30 minutes from Sugar Land. There is tremendous experience and wisdom in their team as well as fair and balanced recommendations that never prioritize the economic side of running a business. In an era when private equity firms are purchasing large veterinary practices, it has been increasingly difficult to get such veterinary care without feeling like your wallet was being biopsied. Take your animals here and you will be very thankful!

HORRIBLE- beginning to end. I'd give it zero stars if possible. Registration appeared good but when I arrived, my dog's breed was incorrect and my phone number was wrong. I used their website address "3429 Texas 6 South" for googlemaps and ended up on Westpark and 6- called the office and the older receptionist told me "we are NOT on hwy 6 south". Her rudeness continued: She proceeded to inform me that I had NOT sent records (I am a TAMU vet school graduate...just need some quick blood work and I've moved away from my usual vet). I show up at the vet office (ever wonder why the parking area is ALWAYS totally empty??) and the receptionist shows me their business card to prove that I had the wrong address (like I can get a business card off the website). I go to a room and a tech comes in, grills me about not sending records, then I wait for Dr. Kurdziel. My history: I have raised dogs for over 35 years, trained to national championship levels, run rescue groups for 20 years, and my professional specialty is canine genetics (linkedin/drkim5/en). My medical service dog (6.6lbs) was highly uncomfortable and seeking "comfort"- UNUSUAL since he is trained to go literally everywhere and has no vet issues. Dr. Kurdziel walks in and is weirdly distant; she shows no affection for animals whatsoever. I'm again grilled about why I won't let them transfer my dog's medical records to their office! I'm told what the steps will be...ok, been here, done this...let's go. Then the tech whips out a muzzle!!! For a 6.6lb affenpinscher. If you are not skilled enough to hold a 6.6lb affen to get a blood draw, I'm concerned. I tell them "no, he won't be muzzled. He is a medically trained service dog and has never bitten anyone." In a very sarcastic tone, Dr. Kurdziel says "and we want to keep it that way". At this point, I had to leave. This whole set up is NOT an Aggie level run organization, and I'm deeply embarrased that Dr. Driever advertises it as such. I will never trust these guys with my animals; signs were there from the first call forward, over and over.

Today, I made the hardest decision I've ever had to make, to say goodbye to my best friend of 14yrs.
Thank you all for your help, compassion, and straight forward recommendations.
You only met Peanut for a few hours, but hopefully he touched your hearts the way he has so many others in the past.
You see so many fur babies weekly, but just know you are now a part in completing Peanut's journey here, and beginning his new adventures in another life.
Thank you ❤️

We have been taking our three dogs to Animal Hospital Highway 6 for about 2-1/2 years. We had a couple emergencies with our dogs and appreciate that we could bring our dogs in with short notice. We know that the doctors will do the best they can to keep our fur babies healthy.

About a month ago, my sister and I rushed here because our beloved bunny of 8 years, Blue, was in distress. As soon as we arrived, two women at the front desk immediately showed us to a room and rushed to get the vet tech and doctor. Blue received immediate attention and although we were frantic, the team was compassionate, patient, and honest with us. I remember the doc saying “I want to be honest with you all; we may lose him at any point” and offered to bring him to the back to give him some sedatives and oxygen to finish the exam. Unfortunately, Blue passed away and crossed the rainbow bridge a minute or two later. We were able to hold him and say goodbye to him in his last moments because of the attentiveness of the clinicians. Afterwards, we were given as much time as we needed to grieve privately in the room. They didn’t charge us for the exam and gave their condolences on our way out. About a week later, my sister and I were touched to find a hand-written sympathy card from everyone at the clinic. Although loss is never easy, the professionalism and compassion at this office helped us grieve. Thank you thank you thank you ??
