Horrible company, I would not recommend getting any type of insurance with them! They do not care about their customers and will not cover your vehicle.
Employee Marissa Adams was very rude, disrespectful and belittling, her supervisor Julie Cassio did not care to confront her employee about her behavior and lack of help.
DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!

I've been using amica for several years. Recently the neighbors tree fell on our cars and totalled one car and the.other had to be fixed. Overall they were pretty good. I bought a new truck added it, then a 3rd vehicle we don't drive was reducing to liability. Told him to change it. Called back after saw bill go up and not down 12 days later found out was never done. I told them to change again. Called back 14th after the man making change Patrick never called me back. Still not done.
I asked him to chk vm when made the 1st change. They said I said to not change. On 14th said change it again, was never done. I asked for Mgr, they said none avail. After I got upset this guy got a mgr.. 3 times I called and still not changed. Ridiculous. Mgr got on phone said would date back 2 days as a courtesy. No courtesy, I told him to change it on the 12th and still wasn't done. Took 3 times calling for them to change to liablity for one vehicle. I asked to hear the recording of the Of the call they refused to let me hear it.. They handle claims very good. I notice a pattern with them.When they tell you they will call you back. They almost never do. I dont trust them when making changes to vehicle coverage.

I recently experienced a water leak in my home and had to file a claim with Amica Insurance. I am delighted to share my outstanding experience with their service, especially the exceptional assistance provided by Lauren Richardson.
From the moment I reported the incident, Lauren exhibited remarkable professionalism and efficiency. She guided me through every step of the claim process with clarity and patience, ensuring I understood all the procedures and requirements. Her attention to detail was evident as she meticulously reviewed my claim, leaving no stone unturned.
Lauren's responsiveness was truly commendable. She promptly returned calls and emails, addressing any concerns or questions I had with thorough and clear explanations. Her empathetic approach provided much-needed reassurance during a stressful time, making me feel supported and valued as a customer.
Moreover, Lauren demonstrated a high level of expertise in handling the intricacies of my claim. I am utterly disappointed with Amica Insurance. Their lack of accountability and professionalism is appalling. A reckless Amica-insured driver plowed into my vehicle, speeding at twice the limit, in pitch darkness without any lights, and blatantly ignoring a stop sign. Despite this clear negligence, Amica has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with.
Their constant turnover means I've been passed around to multiple case workers, each seemingly more elusive than the last. Getting in touch with them via phone or email is like trying to communicate with a ghost. Promises of callbacks from supervisors have been made and broken repeatedly, leaving me stranded for four months now.
To add insult to injury, when I finally managed to get a return phone call today (after four months), they callously denied liability for the claim without even bothering to gather all the facts from both parties nor conducting a thorough investigation. This representative was a complete jerk and started the conversation hot with sheer arrogance and disrespect.
Enough is enough. I refuse to be victimized twice—first by their insured's reckless behavior, and now by Amica's abysmal handling of the situation. I'll be seeking legal counsel because it's abundantly clear that Amica is not interested in fulfilling their responsibilities. Steer clear of this unscrupulous company at all costs. I deeply feel for anyone that has to attempt to collect from this company, Amica will avoid responsibilty at all costs.

My common law partner and I live together and wanted to see what car insurance would be through them with a homeowners policy and they wouldn’t add us to the same car insurance because we aren’t married yet we are on the same car insurance currently with Progressive. Something is hot right at amica. Don’t use them.

I have been with Amica since 1973. I have always been very pleased with its service. Amica is a very fair insurance company with integrity. I have referred many friends to Amica and they are also very pleased.
The two staff representatives that were assigned to me for decades were very intelligent. Every time the Amica representative assigned to me for decades ends up retiring, I would really miss that person. However, the next representative assigned to me was also very knowledgeable and remained with me until she also retired.
Evidently, the protocol appears to have changed as I no longer have someone specifically assigned to me. This has not been an issue.
I highly recommend Amica Insurance!

Insurance claims department never responds to your email or phone. If they do respond good luck. I been waiting on resolution since July 2023 on a claim

I’ve been with Amica 40+ years. (They are not the cheapest - however, they have backed up any loss I’ve had. I would never think of going anywhere else! ——> Except when the time, my kids started driving and they canceled me! Totally understandable because the kids were crashing into everything!) ?They are not the cheapest however, they have backed up any loss I’ve had. I would never think of going anywhere else!

I've been with Amica for 13 years and I am not kidding when I say they have been the very best insurance carrier I have ever had! They sent an independent adjuster out to my home for a flood caused by a faulty washing machine - wrote a 10k check, no questions asked! They replaced my roof caused by a storm 2 years prior, while my neighbor's carriers denied their legitimate claims! Now recently they have, yet again, gone above and beyond with my auto insurance claim!!! I cannot believe some of these google reviews are so low. My long-term policy has stood the test of time!! BEST CARRIER - EVER!

I’ve been insured with Amica over 5 years with no problems. Until I filed a claim. Everyone I attempted to speak with since has been very hostile. However they will gladly accept your on time payment.
