If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I took my car in to have the bumper put back, and they assured me they could handle it. Instead, they added another repair, promising everything would be done in an hour. When I returned after an hour, they hadn’t even started. They rushed the job in 15 minutes but charged me an hour of labor ($120), and the bumper wasn’t properly reattached. When I pointed out the poor work, they suddenly claimed I needed a new bumper—something they failed to mention from the start. I wasted both time and money on a subpar job. Avoid this place at all costs. First and last time here.

I have been using America's Choice Automotive for over 20 years. Their service has been very good and efficient, and I like that they don't try to over sell me.

I am very disappointed in this place. I went there for a free AC check, knowing that nothing is ever free. At first, I tried to make an appointment and was told that there was no need to make an appointment as long as I showed up when they opened at 8 a.m. I would be the first one served. I showed up at 7:45 a.m. and waited until they opened up their doors and checked in. By 8:15 they had not come and got my car yet. I then watched as a lady pulled in behind me and walked inside. 15 minutes later, they came out and got her car first, so I went inside and asked why am I not being the first one being brought back to the back when I was the first one there. The employee, in an unfriendly tone, stated they're coming to get your car now. A couple of minutes later a gentleman came out and told me that my car was too low on freon for them to do the "free test" and that I would have to pay $210 to put freon in it before they can even do the test. I opted out and went to another mechanic shop who said I was low on Freon and only charged me $60 to recharge my car which fixed the issue.
I knew something was wrong when they wanted to charge me three times the normal amount, so I know never to come back to this place again between the attitude and the prices.

Sitting in lobby waiting for my repairs,listening to interactions with customers and employees. The staff is vey nice, i watch Martin exchange words with an elderly lady. He was very kind and patient with her. Honesty goes a long way!! If the service in the garage is anything like the lobby. I will be back

My car was in terrible shape! My engine was shot along with other problems They were thorough and transparent and made sure they fixed the problems. I will definitely be using them again. Thank you for everything!!!

This place was messy and 3 months ago i brought it here to fully fix it but now it has more problems that can’t be fixed because they killed the motor. i don’t know if they’re are bad mechanics or just bad management. My motor that never had problems before is dead because they didn’t fix it properly before.

My mother and I have been bringing our car to this place for a couple years now. Most recent, December 2023, my mom brought her car in to have a few issues looked at (including a leaving issues, oil change and other issues). Loving her car tremendously, she had it fixed for a total cost of over $5,000.
Unfortunately, a little over 2 months later, her car turned off all of a sudden on the highway. Needless to say, very dangerous.
Now we come to find out that her car did not have any oil and the motor went dead. This happened after she payed all that money to have the leaking issue fixed and a new oil change done. They also assured all issues were taken care of. The mileage was not up for a change of oil yet either.
Therefore, problem was never fixed. If it was, there would still be oil in there. After speaking to manager, all he had to say is “we will talk with management”. I haven’t heard anything back from them.
She is now carless, can’t go anywhere, and won’t stop crying over her baby (car).
I will never bring my car here again. I have personally spent thousands of dollars and that will be my last penny.
Please stay away as they will not own up to their mistakes.

My car had been driving weird and I’d worn down the inner tread on my front 2 tires. I felt like I was in a bouncy car at times lol. I was getting tires at discount tire and ACA was right next door so very easy hop and skip over. The gentleman who helped me(I’m terrible with names, I apologize) promptly took care of my alignment and even took the time at pickup to show me where it was out of alignment and that everything was all green and balanced! Very kind man, even offered their waiting area when I decided to just replace the rear tires as well as the ACA waiting room was more spacious and comfortable than DT. And they had coffee! Overall a great experience and less stressful than past experiences with other businesses who try to add on services when they can tell you’re not very knowledgeable about cars. And no more bouncy car!

It's a very small
The lobby is the size of what a bathroom
It's right next to a discount tire
Discount tire refers a lot of their services
I was getting a lug nut fixed that discount broke
The youngest staff are very very good
The older stuff I could do without--rude and only really caring about safety

This is the worse customer service experience ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone in the surrounding Houston/Sugarland area. Make the drive and go 15-30 minutes further to get better service.Vehicle was promised same day but it was kept over night. So after speaking to manager about the lack of communication on their part, the solution was to not bring our vehicle back there. Yet I see they write on others review this statement>, “We value our customer's trust and hold ourselves to a high standard of performance. We look forward to continuing our relationship and servicing your vehicle in the future.”^^^^ All bologna ^^^ if that’s a true statement then when a customer makes the management aware of lack of communication they would not be told, “Don’t come back”.No worries…I won’t be back to give my hard earned money this unprofessional and unpleasant establishment. Houston and Sugarland have thousands of choices for car repair.Get your customer service level up….that’s priority number one.Services: Auto engine tuning
