Pretty awesome set up. The layout. Little building some bring you back in time. Quite. Peaceful. I was inquiring.

I can only speak on the boarding side of things, but you're paying a high price (which was raised several times even after paying your board for that month, they would raise it again and expect you to pay the extra) for a run down facility. The site online does not represent the property in the least. Upon arrival, we walked the property and had to clean it up, pound in and/or remove nails, picked up boards with nails sticking out, blocked off sections with sharp slabs of metal and misc. other unsafe objects. At the time, the site online said hay was included in the monthly price- which it was not. I provided all my own feed with the amounts that were to be fed morning and night- I found that my horses were not getting fed morning and night and they weren't even getting fed what I provided. When we returned after visiting family for the holidays, my horses were out of water- the feed I purchased before we left had hardly been fed- there were signs that the horses had gotten into the tack roomand were free feeding themselves (I was praying none of them were going to colic) but the worst part of it was that they were all underweight and acted starved. I could clearly see that they were not cared for. In my opinion, if you're going to charge a competitive rate, your facility needs to be safe. And if they say they will feed your horses- I expect that to happen. 10/10 I would not recommend boarding your horses at this facility.

I had the time of my life here! I loved visiting with the animals. The room was large, spotless and decorated like a Texas ranch guest house should be! And wait until you see those stars at night! The owners are lovely people. You can tell that they really care about the horses under their care and the grounds are well maintained. If you would like a beautiful, quiet space to spend quality time alone with your horse, your family - or both - do yourself a favor and come to Crossroads Ranch - you will not regret it!

This place was amazing. So quiet and clean. Vikki and her husband were so welcoming. Loved the country feel. Our cabin was great, full kitchen, clean comfortable bedding. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Definitely a better bang for your buck than any hotel around Freestone MX.

We were invited to a birthday party at the last minute at Richland Chambers lake and did not want to have to make the 2 hour drive back to Dallas/Ft Worth so we called around and found this place. The owners were very nice and helpful. The cabin was fairly roomy and clean. We only needed it as a place to sleep so we did not take advantage of all they had to offer. There are various types of cabins available depending on your needs. They are a working ranch and have horses on the property. Have already started spreading the word about this nice little place. Especially to those who had hosted the party. They knew of the ranch but not the cabins available for rent. Check it out if you are in the area of Richland Chambers lake.
