What a wonderful place to find last minute after driving all day. Dolores came to meet us and let us into one I of her fabulous clean and very functional cabins even though it was 8:45pm. Our family is so grateful for the wonderful kindness and hospitality.Rooms: So clean and beds so comfortable. Smart tvs for all your kid tv needs

Came to stay here for the weekend. Had a family reunion at Rober Lee. This location was close enough and good price to stay here. Just needed a spot to shower and sleep. Highly recommended, if no one is in the office call the number and they help you out.

Texas Gold Lodges is amazing! Dolores and Justin keep this place clean and tidy. Full sized fridge, tv, free wifi, and a stovetop. Made me feel right at home.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place! It's like your own little house with a fully stocked kitchen, 2 beds, spotless place, and regular cleaning by Ms. Dolores and her adult son, Justin. They both work SOOOOO hard to make sure that you have everything you need and you are satisfied. There is a laundry room, they come to clean your lodge twice a week, and it is dog-friendly! Most of the people that stay there are traveling workers and everyone respects noise and space. They have weekly and monthly rates. Dolores is just so wonderful! We met our newest addition here at the lodge- a new puppy from Dolores' farm, Mr. Henry Ford. I've included pictures of the lodge as well as food I made while staying here so you can see even with hot plates you can make plenty of yummy meals! And this is located a couple blocks off the main road so it is very very quiet!Update: April 2023And another great stay at the lodge! Dolores and her son, Justin...top notch good people! And glad to hear that the people/guests that stay here treat them well as they go ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure your stay is wonderful. There was a big group of turbine workers staying and even with them cooking out and eating outside.....they were quiet and respectful. The place is a great stay and very reasonably priced!

Superb place to stay. Thank find a gem like this in a remote area like this is rare. No bells, no whistles, just clean, quiet and comfortable. I wish I could find a place like this every night I travel! I’d give up chain hotels.

awsome little cabin. nice bathroom and furniture in room. super comfortable beds. I forgot a important necklace to me. and the owner found it. contacted me and mailed it to me. I will definitely be staying there again :)

These little cabins are cozy and quiet and clean. Sterling city is right where we needed to be for a family event and these lodges were very comfy. I would have liked a queen or two rather than 2 full sized beds but we were safe and warm and comfortable for the couple of days and nights that we were there. Justin and his sister were very kind and went out of their way to make sure we got a good deal.

Enjoyed both nights. Deloris was very accommodating to my needs. Very unique lodging area. I will be back in late July. Looking forward to staying again.
