I took a large group of seniors there for a tour and the owner and everyone else there was super friendly and showed us all the ropes for making a felt hat from start to finish! A couple of us did walk out with new straw hats!!!
10/10 recommend!

My very first custom hat purchase in Texas. Guys at the Hatter walked me thru the process with measurements, design and fitment. Hat was ordered end of May and picked it up in December, just in time for Christmas. Merry Xmas to me. Was fun to watch my hat maker do the final shaping on my purchase. So happy with the results. Would highly recommend Capital Hatter for a custom felt hat. Next one will be in grey or maybe brown.

As a custom hat maker who is relatively new to the area, I really wanted to swing by the check out this fellow hatter. Even though we both make custom hats, I wanted to appreciate them myself.What an amazing operation they have!! I was really impressed with their set up and attention to detail. They also repair boots which is really a plus! I was told they've been in business for 20 years. Very kewl!!

I went in to see if my favorite wristlet could repaired, and much to my surprise, it was repaired in less than 10 minutes! The gentleman that helped was very nice and wouldn't let me pay for his services. I highly recommend them.

Shopped in on a whim that they had a felt hat in my size. The nice fella at the counter happened to have 1 hat in a 6 7/8s and did the shaping right there while I waited. We were on a trip from Florida so I'm so glad I got a felt hat in my size. The craftsmanship is beautiful and it's a head turner everywhere I go. Thanks yall, amazing craftsmanship and customer service all the way!

I was in town for work and wanted to check out some cowboy hats and boots. I walked in to Capital Hatters and was greeted right away. The smell of the store was amazing, you the know clean smell and leather !? Anyway, both the men in the store working were such gentlemen, who I now refer to as The Cowboys. Anyway, I ended up purchasing two hats for my sons on The Cowboys recommendation. They offered to ship it home since I showed worry on how I would carry them on the plane. They arrived home in perfect condition!! And I have to say, my boys were so happy to wear them! I couldn't be more happier with my experience with Capital Hatters and I think anyone visiting should stop by and check it out.

I took them my beloved work bag because the handles were fraying. They did an amazing job making new handles for it. The handles they made are very durable and despite carrying so much stuff in the bag, it has held up very well. Thank you Capital Hatters!
