Grateful beyond words for today’s incredible experience with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. My son, who navigates the world in a wheelchair, is going to be granted a wish that fills our hearts with love, inspiration, and countless smiles. A huge thank you to Make-A-Wish for their unwavering support, turning dreams into reality. Today, we were reminded of the power of love, belief, and never giving up with a smile!?

I have waited a year after my son's passing to write this. His cancer was terminal. He never got his wish due to nothing being on time and everyone taking their sweet time(months). Yes they are nice but don't take the terms "terminal" and "against time" very seriously. Others(friends and social media) made some wishes happen and he got to do some things with what life he had left. They finally had his packet ready just a few days before he passed and he didn't make it. "Unfortunately the wish always has to go to the child" (yes understandable but it didn't) when asked if it could be received as a grieving packet for me and my 3 other children. Social media fundraising works faster and there no one questioning your child wish(yes they made it seem like I made him say the wish HE actually wanted). I am disappointed that he didn't get his ultimate wish, I know there is nothing I can do about it now but people deserve to have faster results. Terminal children are counting down the seconds/minutes/days not weeks or months.

Make A Wish personnel Carrie and Jeralyn were very helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. They asked us what our special needs child liked, and after being told he liked PJ Masks, they decorated the RV with PJ Masks sheets and bed clothes. Make A Wish is a fantastic non profit organization that are outstanding and helps children everywhere. We are blessed and honored to be chosen to be helped by them. Thank you All, and God Bless
