It provides free electricity to more than thirty people at the same time during a power outage after the Beryl storm. This is proof that solidarity can happen anywhere. Thank you, we will continue to buy our books, hobby materials, our children’s toys, blurays, from you. Thank you all of the employees.”
“Good store, only downside is awkward hours. Stay open til at least 7pm for 9-5 workers (and maybe 3-4 hours Sunday since faith based)Only other technical concern, although book selection good, some religious products made in China (wonder if could get from elsewhere)Oh and get rid of phony Faustina ‘divine mercy’ diary. That ruined my life substituting that tricky shallow chaplet for rosary”
“I've only been to this bookstore once, but I enjoyed my visit. It's a small shop but there's a wide variety of books. I prefer science fiction books and there was a good variety of books for me to pick from. The staff were very friendly too. The bookstore is far from my home, but I do plan to make future trips.”
“Okay, so not so Jumbo when you see the place, but it is packed with all typos of Judaica. Just don't be shocked when you see how small the place is. They have all types of items including toys for babies and kids, cookbooks, talis, novels, jewelry, bar, and bat mitzvah, gifts and items, holiday items, etc. you're bound to find something. The one employee that I've encountered while shopping there is a huge help and very friendly. Both occasions there seems to be a steady flow of shoppers. Do check the times they are open.”
“I love this location. They always have the books I am looking for and some. The clearance section is always filled with good selection. I just don't like construction going on right now in the area, but overall, great!”
“My husband, son-in-law and and daughter come here all the time. I shop here too. This mixed neighborhood loves everyone. Houston is the most internationalist city in the USA! They treat everyone great no matter what color skin you have or how you are dressed. I hope to be invited to do silhouettes in the store. I will bring my grandchild in today for her 7 1/2 year birthday gift. It’s a great toy store.”
“Excellent service and a wide selection of items both beautiful and useful.I found the inspirational item that I wanted and then I bought a second one. Thank you.”

The store is full of goodies, including some hard to find gadgets, CD, magazines and books from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.Winseng offers red envelopes and Chinese greeting cards all year round. I don't have to wait until Lunar New Year to get them.”
“Although I am not a student here (I attend LSU - in an MBA program), I was very impressed with this community / junior college campus. Looks like it's new or recently remodeled. Attended a Women N.O.W. conference luncheon regarding human sex-trafficking hosted by the Sociology Club and a professor Dr. Fonge. Met several amazing people and lunch was provided by Big 6 BBQ (food was amazing btw - I will have to try them out personally). Conference room where event was held was impressive. Nice stage, sound systems, and huge television monitors as well as projector screen. Great place to host a future SuperBowl party on campus!! Parking lot was huge but obviously extremely packed. They do have a multi-level parking garage so I'd recommend going straight there from the get go so you're not searching for an open spot. Would definitely return to attend future on-campus events in the future. The Sociology club there seems to have it together as the event was very organized and no mishaps derailed any part of this 4 hour event. Very professionally handled and orchestrated.”
“Super cute murder & Mystery themed bookstore. Employees were very nice and helpful (can order for you if they don't have it in the store). Loads of different signed books, would make a great place to pickup a gift for any book lover in your life!”
