“Just moved to the area and needed some TLC. Just happened to drive by while out with my boyfriend and had to check it out. Not only is the shop full of all sorts of wonderful goodies, but the smell of the candles wrap you in warmth and comfort. Had to buy a few and will never go anywhere else to restock my candles. The owner was delightful and honest, answered all our questions and even shared a smile. A must when in the area!”

From vintage furniture to delicate porcelain, every item exudes a sense of history and character. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, eager to share stories behind the pieces and offer insights into their provenance. “Helpful and knowledgeable about the coin markets. When I went in overhead the owner say "Bring in your coin and evaluate for no charge as the man had complained about another place that was going to charge for his opinion of the coin. The other customer was with his kids making coin books - nice wholesome place!”

“Yep, same here! Just like all the other sane people say, this is the place to go! Today was the second time I had business with Mr JR and both times I was over the top satisfied. Truly, above my expectations. From the security to the warm ambience of the place to the honest, generous pricing, professional, yet very friendly, owner, I have to recommend JR BULLION Rare Coins above all others. Sincerely!”

“This is one of the best coin shops in Houston. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and ready to answer any of a customer's many questions on how to search for coins or to stack bullion. Mark is always there with knowledge of some unique inventory you won't find elsewhere and Ryan is always kindly informing you of what will be the best deal for gold and silver as well as being welcoming to both the seasoned veteran and the neophyte alike”

“I found WHAM while driving to the GW on the I-10. I've been there twice now, and found some interesting items. Their prices are fair and they have a constant rotation of goods and 50% off sales on different categories. Cashier and staff are very nice. The only thing I wish they'd do was open a dressing room, since you can't try on clothes and all sales are final. However, for $4 for a shirt or sweater or pants, you can't really complain too much. Their clothing does seem rather boutique and you can find some brand name clothes for a steal. They have a large selection of books ($1.50-$3) and smaller selection of CDs ($1.50), DVDs, and some games. You can also donate and feel like you know where the money is going.”

“My annual family trip to TX would not be complete without a tour of the short list of gorgeous design boutiques my discriminating family regularly curates nearby. Found is a constant on this list. Wonderful combinations of classic staples, modern essentials and unique accents items are available - each presented in creative inspired vignettes. Though it's not practical to bring items home with me personally, it's difficult to leave without ideas for improving my own space far away and an item or two on the wish list for the local family home if not in tow! Designers in store are always kind, patient and informed. Recommend you add to your inspiration rotation!”

“I've shopped here before and have always be really pleased with the experience and what I've bought. Cathy is a really nice lady who helped me pick out the perfect piece for my wife's birthday--she loved it. She's taken the time to tell me background info on some of her items, which is always cool to learn, and her prices are very reasonable. Last time I picked out an antique fish net which looks great in my office. She gets new (old) stuff in frequently, which guarantees that we'll be back!”

“First, there is no Leslie Caron-Dewhurst. Second, the Agreement between Judy Robinson Appraisal and Falcon Seaboard was signed by me. Judy's firm came highly recommended to us. Falcon felt Judy and her employees were professional and knowledgeable. Several of our items were sold in the last sale; since the sale, David Dewhurst even asked if Judy would follow up and pursue several bids that we did not originally accept. Judy's over four decades in the business satisfied me and I have recommended the firm to some close friends who need to liquidate a family estate.”

“This boutique-style and exclusive Eastern culture antique shop gets 5 stars not only for the inventory but also for the owner. A descendant of antique experts, his knowledge of Eastern history, culture, and cooking made this experience memorable. A look and leave trip misses the best part of the experience. Tell the owner, Kris says, 好 [Hello]."”

“Aside from some rude employees, it’s a great store composed of a large store + houses behind it. Expensive but worth it, if you can afford it, for the convenience and selection. Some of the staff is nice and some not so nice at all. I sprang for the free gift wrap because the person who rang me up was so rude and stuck up. It should be a stop for anyone of means visiting Houston.”
