They get touchy when you ask them to do anything they don’t want to do. I had a black spot of something in my dip nails and when I pointed it out she said that if she fixes it it’ll look bad? Huh? If you fix it, it should look good? And then she said it’s just in the dip powder… all I’m saying is she had to have seen it before that point and she choose not to fix it and then got mad when I didn’t like it. They rush everything they do. I chipped my nail and went back to fix it. She grinded it down instead of soaking. I have natural nails and she ended up having to file my nail down even more than she would’ve simply because she got the tip of my nail in her rush. She didn’t offer to put an extension on my nail to make them match the rest of my nails. Then she shaped it wrong and got it about twice as thick as the rest of my nails. I asked her to make it thinner to match the rest of them. Easy right? No she complains that she would have to start all over so there she goes grinding it down all the way again all in a rush. Does it again and tells me that they all do nails differently and if I’m still not happy someone else is gonna have to do it. Lol my nail is crooked and she made the nail square shaped instead of the squoval that the rest of my nails are done. Plus it’s extra short compared to my medium length that the rest are. Looks ridiculous. I told her that’s fine because I don’t want to fight over these nails anymore ? I usually go to Nail Bloom , it’s a drive, but I took a chance because I was feeling lazy. Wrong choice and now I remember why I don’t get my nails done in Springtown anymore.

Apparently these people do not like male clientele. I walked in and asked for a pedi. They told me to go have a seat. No other people ever acknowledged me. They got right to the lady that came in behind me. I sat there for 20 min waiting for someone to come around or at least tell me it will be a few minutes. Not a a single response. I got up and walked out the door and not one person said a word. Being new in town, I guess I am still looking for a good place to get a pedi and mani. This is the second place in town I have scratched off my list.

John was a very fast paced but very detailed nail tech. He was also a cheerful funny guy bringing laughter around so you aren’t just sitting he made you feel welcomed. He made sure to ask if that was how you wanted your nails before completely continuing. I highly recommend this nail salon and it’s reasonable pricing too. <3

I am not one to write a bad review but this mama desperately needed her ingrown toenails removed and was due for a relaxing massage and I was extremely disappointed in the service I just got from Solar Nails in Springtown TX.
My nail technician displayed questionable hygiene practices throughout my visit.
Not only did she place every utensil she used on a trash can lid, but she also scrubbed my feet and then placed the utensils on the ground. It was evident that the utensils used on me were not properly sanitized, as they were simply thrown back into the nail drawer AFTER use. So gross.
Lastly, despite expressing discomfort due to my ingrown toenails, the technician dismissed my concerns, insisting that the issue had been addressed when it clearly hadn't. When I requested a thorough check, she refused, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated.
My biggest and overall concern was the lack of cleanliness. This raised serious doubts about the overall sanitation practices of the establishment. I will never go back.

First time getting my nails done, I was a walk in and was sat very quickly! I showed the guy my inspo picture and my nails look better than the picture! Thank you so much! Affordable too!

The only place I will go to get nails done. They fixed my set of nails after another salon completely ruined them. John got me in super quickly, and fixed my nails! The best place to go.
