People are friendly they are really knowledgeable about my English bulldog they were patient with him! The prices are kinda high $424 for a wellness package can be a little overwhelming in this economy!

My dog had surgery to get spayed and remove 3 mammary tumors. While the surgery went well, when I took my 6lb dog to get her stitches and bandages out, she started crying out in pain but I just thought she was sore from stitch removal. 2 days later after stitch removal she would still not allow me or anyone to pick her up because she would cry out in pain. That same afternoon I noticed she had a horrible injury on her back that looked like a burn, the skin was lifting up, raw red and oozing. I sent them an email with the picture of her injuries and they told me to bring her back in so I did. Now, by this time I had paid $2,585 for her consultation, surgery and meds. When I arrived to the vet they put us in a exam room so they could check her injury. The vet tech there first agreed it looked like burns then handed me a quote of $800 for treatment and I declined because my dog suffered this horrible burns on her back with them. When the vet Dr Condoleo came in she said it wasn't a burn from her surgery but a hot spot? I say it with a question mark because my dog has never had this issue before and she's almost 10 years old. I believe she was just not wanting to provide treatment for an injury they caused and wanted no liability for it. To add insult to injury they CHARGED me again for a vet visit for a injury they caused to my tiny dog! When I told them that I was not willing to pay for a vet visit when they themselves told me to bring her in. Specifically when they never told me they were going to charge again , they then "reduced the charge" from an $85 wellness check to $64 for a "progress check" on injuries they themselves caused and refused to treat unless I gave them more $. My husband was so upset he really wanted to get an attorney involved. This whole place just really stressed me out and I am still upset at them. To pay almost $3k in this economy to help my tiny best friend and to have this facility injure her and not provide treatment for their negligence is too much. Also they left a thermometer cover stuck inside her rectum that she later pooped our and they never notified me that this had happened so I was shocked and concerned when that came out in her poop. I took my baby to this vet center because it was close to home and had good reviews. I should have listened to my gut instinct instead. I also have pictures of her injuries.
If you're new and take your best friend here good luck and tread carefully.

Excellent service and fantastic staff. From the moment I walked in with my dog we were greeted warmly. The staff made my otherwise nervous Shepherd, feel very comfortable and at ease. The Dr and the tech took their time with him and were both wonderful. We received an estimate for an upcoming procedure and we were able to book that appt as well. AMAZING CLINIC

I had a great experience at the veterinary clinic met two new people at the veterinary center new to me as a new patient. They made both me and my dog feel relaxed and my dog felt no anxiety. He was well treated and left with a clean bill of health which made me happy. I would recommend VMCS to all looking for a good veterinarian.

Update to previous review…
My dog has severe skin allergies every so often. I’ve taken him to VMCS Kuykendahl location since early 2021. I have been happy with them up until today. Took the dog in on 3/7/24 for skin condition. Received usual service, exam and antibiotics & allergy prescriptions. The doctor asked to see him in 2 weeks for follow up. I was given an itemized receipt which included wellness exam $73, in house cbc/ chem $0, Apoquel $89.61, Trizchlor shampoo $64.25, Trizchlor mousse $67.18 and last but not least RECHECK IN 14 DAYS $0.00.
Fast forward to 3/22 for RECHECK IN 14 DAYS $0.00. Doctor comes in and sees the skin is not clear, the infection returned 2 days after he took last of the prescriptions prescribed on 1st visit. She prescribes another round of antibiotics and steroids. Fine cool.
Tech comes back in with meds and says total charges for visit $151.10. Seemed high to me for just 2 meds so I asked what I was being charged for. Low and behold I was being charged $62.50 for RECHECK IN 14 DAYS $0.00.
I pushed back on the exam charges and told her there wasn’t supposed to be a charge and she asked if I was verbally told my RECHECK IN 14 DAYS $0.00 would be $0.00. I replied it was VERY CLEARLY printed on my invoice from the original visit . She left came back with apology misunderstanding blah and said the exam charge still applied. I pushed back more she left again. Minutes later the office manager comes in with previous receipt in hand and asks me if I thought there was no exam fee because the invoice says RECHECK IN 14 DAYS $0.00 to which I replied yes. She proceeded to say that the $0.00 doesn’t mean $0.00 for the follow up and that it’s only there because “they don’t know any other way to put it on there.” REALLY? How bout you don’t put RECHECK 14 DAYS $0.00 in the itemized section and move it to the reminder section with the freaking cost so you don’t catch your customers off guard?
$62.50 not the end of the world but it’s the principle of the matter. So since you were blatantly and unapologetically dishonest IT IS THE END OF MY DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU. I hope the $62.50 was worth losing a loyal customer and worth this 1 star review. You have lost my trust and I do not want my pet to be under the care of dishonest people. GOODBYE.

My dog hurt himself and while it wasn't an emergency, they were able to fit us in the same day. The facility was very clean and we were able to get into an examination room quickly.
The tech and vet were very sweet and patient with my highly anxious and suspicious dog. He's a reactive rescue and does not trust people or dogs. They were able to treat him, trim his nails (thank goodness), and get us out of the door without having to see any other animal patients.
We will be coming back!
