This review is for the Panther Creek Branch Post Office on Gosling. I submitted an online inquiry regarding a missing piece of mail and within a few days they called me with instructions on what to do and I did receive the mail. I was very appreciative and impressed by this. The employees at this branch are always nice. Love this location. Yes, the lines can be very long sometimes but that is not their fault, it is the fault of the Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, who has been trying to run the post office into the ground and wants to privatize it. Get rid of him. Despite that, this branch excels and I cannot thank them enough!

Did a walk-in passport appt and it went very smooth only because I knew the parameters. Get there super early!! 7 AM-7:30 AM since they start walkins by 9 AM only on thursdays. They only have 10 spots so if you get there and there’s already 10 spots taken try again next week. Double and triple check the passport requirements and come with everything organized. I was 5th on the list and I got lucky with 2 people missing their appointments. I was done with the actual appt in 15 mins. Arrived around 7:30 AM was done by 10:30! Great service and everyone was friendly.

Very nice staff interactions. But soooooo slow. Currently in line for 20 minutes. They never have anyone at all come up to help at any time when it’s needed. Extremely poorly managed. I really hate having to go here but it’s the closest.

This is the best post office ever. There are lots of other post offices around this area and I have checked them all out. This one is the one I like because the clerks are all stars! I've been taking my packages here for 8 years. The building is nice too. Thumbs up for the Panther Creek location.

The staff in this USPS are rude, they made their own rules to not scan your prepaid package at counters after 6pm, no matter it's 1 box or 100 boxes, they just take your package without scanning, and could update tracking info very late . I don't see the same rules at any other USPS

Little worker whose first name starting with L got resentful because I was asking for a refund for a service that I paid for, and they did not literally deliver. She was cocky with me and indifferent and hostile and made me wait there for an hour on a refund where another clerk felt pity for me and help me. Maybe she is in the wrong job for customer service. I just made a complaint with Better Business Bureau so they are going to have to acknowledge this issue. My time and money is obviously important to me, but not to them. It’s a miracle that they stay in business with behavior like this.

The postal clerk who assisted me when sending a package to my son was informative and friendly.

this post office is TRASH. the workers are beyond lazy and unbelievably rude too!! i have both experienced and witnessed the workers yell at its patrons for no particular given reason. they are completely unhelpful and lackluster at their jobs here. 1/2 times that i come here, the bins are locked, and by no means do i intend to personally interact with them at the counter so as to avoid condescending behavior. and don’t bother telling them that their bins are locked either because it will provoke the workers and cause them to react harshly regardless of how kindly you inform them. if you can, make the extra trip to go to an alternative post office unless you enjoy a hostile environment!

I made a serious mistake, I have anxiety, when I walked into the post office during the month of December...lol. Though 2 clerks & the customer being me in line, we're very personable. Also, thankfully, I was done within 20 minutes... they moved people along as quickly as possible.

Staff is extremely rude and belittling! Took my packages I needed shipped to FEDEX instead. Explore other options unless you absolutely need to use this locations services, and even then, go to a different USPS

I have been going to post offices around the United States for the past 25 years mailing packages, getting passport and other services. I began utilizing this location’s services since 2022, monthly. I have been waited on by each of the counter staff, The passport staff. The box staff. The kiosks staff and the staff that you have to ring the bell for package pickup. They have all been very nice and attentive. I’ve had times where my information was not correct and they gave me instructions on how to correct it. I’ve been in there when there were long lines, holiday lines, short lines, and special pick up lines. I observed the staff wait on everyone with patience and attentiveness. I know what poor service looks like and this Post Office is far from that kind of operation. My observations proved that the customers in most cases were not the most respectful. If you have to stand in a long line, that’s not the staff’s fault. It’s the nature of the job.I just witnessed on Friday 11/17/23, all the stations busy with a customer, one customer didn’t have her information and keep the attendant at the counter over 30 minutes because the customer was elderly and needed assistance. They were kind and patient. The other attendants were tackling the line - one person at a time. Very pleasant. All the (3) kiosks were busy with other activity and were moving along. The passport station had a family there and another family waiting. People were coming in and out to get to their boxes and it ran very smooth. I was in line for maybe 40 minutes but it was good to witness that we (community ) Can still interact with a live person (not a robot or AI BOT) and get services handled well. I’m proud of this Post Office. With the amount of activity, it runs well, and thank you for still employing human beings to help other human beings.

As a small business owner, I frequent this location nearly every day but often have to come back 2 or 3 times because the mail drums are always locked and the lines so long. I asked why there's no place to put packages and the ONE and ONLY nice worker told me the manager will not make the employees in the back empty the drops when they are full, even if it is morning. In other words-- LAZY workers and WEAK manager. One time I went to drop my package in the drum to hear that locked sound and a gruff worker in the back started YELLING FOUL WORDS that it is locked. Another time I was walking from the door to a self service kiosk and suddenly one of the workers at the registers started YELLING across the whole place: "where the hell do you think you're going?!" I heard the yelling and looked up to see what it was about. She was yelling at me with her AGGRESSIVE attitude!!! Why???!!! These "workers" do not belong in The Woodlands businesses where people are kind and helpful and neighborly. These are people who refuse to do a good job or treat people nicely. If you're an entitled, angry, incompetent person, they'll hire you at this post office. I hope this place closes. It is not good enough for this town or state. And, half the time, they do NOT SCAN your packages so the tracking is pointless unless another worker scans it somewhere else en route. *To the employees: you're very effective at giving yourselves a bad reputation. So just remember that when you act like that, you will not be respected. To the manager: learn to manage.
