This is by far the worst daycare I've ever been to in my life, the director Jennifer Mclemore is a complete immature unprofessional women child, she does NOT care about her staff and the kids that attend her daycare. she covers up incidents and lies to parents about the welfare of their children. she even goes out of her way to turn her entire staff against each other. She insults her staff and even told one of her employee's that a little that was attending her daycare was a dirty and wouldn't amount to anything in life. One of her staff members even caught her abusing one of the kids in the bathroom and choking them. IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS LOCATION!!!!!

My 3 boys have been attending this location for a year, and we are so pleased with everyone here. The staff is amazing and nice. Ms.Jennifer and the rest of the ladies do an amazing job. My boys enjoy attending here.

If I could give zero stars, I would.I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is nice, but they do not pay attention to the kids. My son went here for 3 or 4 days, the first day he got bit, but NO ONE notified me. The 2nd or 3rd day he got bit again and I noticed it a couple days later without being notified from the school! The 3rd or 4th day I told them that if they don't notify me of my child getting hurt or bit, that's an issue for me to find out by seeing marks on my child. They told me they had a biter, well then they should pay more attention, shouldn't they. I also told them if anything happens today, call me immediately because I am going to come straight back and pick him up. Well, I went to pick him up at 5:30pm after going all day without being notified anything and was met with a piece of paper to sign that he got scratched on the face at 8 AM! I dropped him off at 7:30 AM. and they didn't tell me until the end of the day, no call and ignored my request for them to call immediately. Pure negligence.My son went to a different daycare for over a year before this and they always notified me if something happened, like right away they would call me and on top of that he only got bit one time at the previous daycare the whole time he attended. We had to switch because we moved unfortunately.

Hands down the best most easy going daycare I have ever allowed my kids to be at, they work with you in everyday possible I do not want to change daycares. Mrs. Jennifer is the best!

My Son attended this great place, he absolutely loved his teacher Alexis. We thank everyone here for everything they have done and continue to do to create a safe and fun learning environment for our kids.

My step daughter has been going here pretty much since she was 9 months old and yes some of the old reviews with the old management were true. But this new management has been better then ever! They always accommodate me and my daughter whether its coming in late or just needing something from them. They treat her like she is their own! She absolutely loves this school and she cant wait to see her friends every morning (doesn't even say bye to me lol). If you are looking for a good daycare with some really good teachers look this way!

I would like to give my honest opinion of this specific location of Children’s Courtyard.I have read the previous reviews, especially those with lower ratings and during the time they were posted the Daycare was under different Management and Staff. I would agree with majority of the sentiments shared. The school was certainly in need of a change. There were several incidents that made me question our enrollment and we had even taken some time away due to these occurrences.Now, at the time of this post, you wouldn’t hardly believe this is the same school. The change in Staff and Management has vastly improved. They are more involved in the day to day activities of the children and responsive to any inquiries made either in person or through the Daycare monitoring application, Sprout! They have utilized this application to keep parents informed and allow for a true means of communication. They have cameras in the classrooms in which your child is in to allow for you to check in, although there isn’t audio and you must interpret body language, there is comfort in being able to have a visual throughout the day.The Staff is working hard in making changes and to me those changes are evident not only in person where under previous management, rooms would look like holding pens in a rodeo with children running around and a mess everywhere, now there appears to be order and structure. There are interactive lesson plans. Since this new change, my child has grown in speech development and motor skills, which to me speaks volumes in the environment of learning.ADDED BONUS: Parent Night Out! This group of amazing Management and Staff have facilitated a Parent Night Out. Once a month for a small fee less than $35 you are able to drop your children off even if they do not regularly attend, in order for you to have time to yourself.I couldn’t be happier that we stuck it out and gave this school a second chance, because if this would have been our first impression of this location their overall review rating would be far higher. If you’re searching for a place to look after your children, even elementary aged children, I would give them a chance, and if you have been here before and left a second look may be in order!Thank you everyone at Children’s Courtyard for being a part of our Family!

I was hesitant to even consider this place for my children after seeing the reviews HOWEVER with the recent change in management it has made a turn for the better. The new director Jennifer is amazing and the teachers are too! My son and daughter love going to "school" there and with the SproutAbout app I can check on them live anytime I want. I highly recommend them and urge everyone to try and look past the older reviews and go see for yourself how wonderful this daycare is now that it has new leadership!!!

My daughter has been enrolled in this daycare twice, and both times she’s been enrolled she or another child has been roughly handled my a specific Indian teacher, this has been over a year apart and no change. Everyone and thing else is great but we continuously have issues with this specific woman. It makes me wonder if the school tells the parents when it’s been reported that we have seen on the cameras in real time this woman yank a child by their arm with them falling to the floor among other things

It's going around social media that children were not being watched and escaped through a space in the fence today. This place is near a very busy road and the children could have easily been run over or taken if it wasn't for a good Samaritan.Response to owner: I actually used to live right near your day care; walking distance. What I left out of the review, because it was several years ago, is that my daughter once walked a child back into the door of the school because they had wandered out onto the neighborhood side of the street. My neighbor also took her child out of your day care because she ended up with bruises that could not be explained. I could go on and on because I lived there for over a decade and was very active in the community. Parents need to do their due diligence before sending their children to your day care. It is disturbing because it seems nothing has changed. Rather than comment online to try to protect your reputation; how about making real changes that protect the children that attend.

Today was the last straw. KIDS ALMOST ESCAPING AN UNSECURED GATE!!This location is in dire need of a complete change of management. The best teacher left and it is easy to see why. When a teacher who was a former student tells you this is not the same Children's Courtyard she grew up in ... speaks volumes.The director does not care about the cleanliness and what's worse is the corporate office cared even less. The Department of Health and Human Services WILL be receiving a complaint. I have a feeling they will be getting more than mine.It is hard to believe my wife and I struggled with the decision to change daycare. THANK GOD WE DID and our child will stay home until she starts her new daycare. I will burn every hour of PTO if I have to... and it will be worth every minute.

If I could rate this daycare a 0 star I would. Worst daycare my 19 month old son has ever been to. He lasted a week here. They have cameras yet the teachers pull students by the legs which I captured videos of they’re extremely rough with the toddlers. I walked into a staff member yelling as if my son had injured someone because he didn’t sit down on the mat. My son obviously ran to greet me and once the staff member saw me she acted as if she didn’t even know his name. Obviously she did because she yelled his name. She started being nice to my son offering him a treat because he helped. I was furious. I just left. I spoke with the director about the way they treat the kids a day prior to this event. Ashley who is in the toddler room is the worst. You can see her on the cameras being so rough and yelling at the students. The kids run away as soon as they see her coming obviously because of how mean she is. On a video I also captured she pulled my son from his arm and his jeans and pushed him to the mat so he can sleep as he was crawling to his mat. I think they should hire new staff. Horrible way to treat children specially since they’re the reason you have a paycheck. I refuse to allow my son to be at this hell hole for another day. I captured videos of the teachers seeing a child fighting and just going on about their day. Horrible place. I wouldn’t leave my child here. They just yell I feel as if my son got worse in the one week he was there. Absolutely the worst daycare ever.
