Great selection of wine and spirits, average beer selection. Helpful floor staff. Great cigar selection. There is one cashier, an older lady, who is quite miserable. Clearly hates her job and takes it out on the customer with her attitude. I feel sorry for you. Specs should consider that she looks for another job. BTW, the tap function on the terminals does not work, you have to insert. I have had a card compromised after visiting this store. No accusations, I’m sure it is coincidental. Just be aware.

I have shopped Spec's since the late 1960s when they had their downtown store on Smith and it immediately became my favorite store for adult beverages.
All their stores have an awesome collection of beer, wine and spirits featuring many unique brands and some really cool food selections.
Their staff is very knowledgeable of their products and can make some wonderful recommendations.

I’ve been around wines all my life. Please don’t ever recommend a wine without a cork. 99% of the time they are low quality, not even good taste. Today I bought one of those with Specs store notes such as “excellent and hand picked” not paying attention to the cork -my bad because it is a clear indicator- and the result has been as expected… Please if you recommend one of those without a cork, triple check that it is in the 1% rare good ones. I am usually happy with Specs to rate it a 4 or 5 stars but just because of it it is from my point of view, you have lost a lot of weight in your ratings.

Didn't have tge imported british beer that I was looking for. Old speckled hen and boddingtons were two of them.

I went for 750ml of vodka. While there, my wife called and added in a fifth of gin. That was more than the cash I had.Credit card prices took the bill from $75 to $85 before tax. I should have just stuck with the vodka only and paid cash!

I'm a fan of a friendly face, I did not get a friendly or warm feeling. I'll stick with my locally family owned liquor store.

imagine complaining about allocated product being delivered after you got to the store. what a CHILD! great selections here and the staff is always friendly, even when they are slammed.

The manager at this location “gate keeps” the allocated bourbons. If your are trying to just snag a bottle you can barely get and ask about it he’ll say he’s not getting it in, then couple hours later a dude will post he just put it out. I get folks are selling it and not buying to drink it, but last I checked his job is to sale liquor… not profile and lie about not knowing what’s coming in. Rayford and Conroe locations way better service.
