Unfortunately, it is impossible to schedule driving times. They do not answer phones, you cannot reserve drives on website, everything is booked, and then you are charged for not getting drives in when they will not allow you to schedule a drive :(

The instructors for the driving portion are great, however the online portion has been a disappointment. It's expensive and You essentially have 3 months to complete a ton of material which is difficult to complete during school. If you don't complete the course within 3 months then it's $50 for every 30 day extension. I am currently on my daughters second extension and she will likely need a third. Go with Aceable online instead. It's Cheaper and there are no time restraints. Then if you want to sign up for the driving portion that is alright.

I completed my driver's ed here as a kid. I remember mostly being bored, with the bizarre exception of the car crash snuff-films that every American teenager has been forced to watch since the 1970's. But that's not SafeWay's fault, unlike their prices. Holy...shirt. Better hope Mom is paying 'cause even a simple road test for a licensed adult costs over $200! To be clear, this is the exact same test the DPS offers for $11. Is it worth $189.00 to stand in a different line for a different, indifferent bureaucrat in a different, grey building hidden deep in the bowels of yet another colorless strip mall? Before you answer, don't forget to check for any of their reminder emails (these can arrive late - after your scheduled appointment time) after which you will be charged ANOTHER $75 for the missed session. The pizza place nextdoor is pretty good tho

Safeway is extremely accommodating especially and makes scheduling drives very easy. I always feel super safe with the instructors and always confident i can handle the lessons. Its a great program my brother went through it and now my twin and I am and soon so will my younger sisters!

well lets see Todd Peters was wonderful with my triplets boys from day one he said not to worry that they are in good hands so after the first drive they had with him my boys knew he was a good person to teach them the ropes and for sure they were right . to rate Todd 5 stars i would rate him a 20 star if they had that many stars to pick . not only was he understanding about changing some dates around due to my mom heath issues and her passing he was caring as well. so he took care of my boys just like i do when i am teaching them as well . he does look after the kids when they are driving . and also makes sure they understand the roll as a new driver but as well as teaching them until they got it . any questions i had he for sure always answered them . so thank you Todd

My husband and I could not be happier with Todd Peters and Safeway of Spring. He is knowledgeable, patient, personable, and kind to his students, as well as professional. My daughter was very comfortable learning from him, enjoyed her lessons, and is now driving with confidence. We highly recommend Safeway Driving of Spring and Todd Peters without hesitation.

Todd Peters with Safeway Driving school was great. My daughter was extremely nervous and he took very good care of her and she passed her DPS test without any problems.

My daughter LOVED going to Safeway for her drivers education. Both of my boys took their drivers ed through the high school but my daughter really wanted that extra attention. She received it and was very pleased. She developed the confidence she needed to become a good driver. My daughter also took her driving test at Safeway and is now a licensed driver. Thank you to the Safeway driving school in The Woodlands. You all provided that special attention that young students require when learning to drive and be safe. My daughter and I highly recommend Safeway Drivers Education at the Grogan's Mill shopping center location.

Instruction seems adequate if not overly friendly. Take care with their reminder emails, these sometimes arrive late - after appointment times - and you will then be charged $75 for missed sessions.

We have used this company for 3 kids now and it seems to work......at least it keeps my sanity by keeping me from having to do the heavy lifting in terms of teach my kids the rules of the road and basic driving skills. It offers a combination of classroom and driving training. My kids did not complain too much so it must be A-OK or I would have heard about it. There are some inconveniences.......parking for pick-up and drop off are a challenge......and worrisome since you can image all those young drivers driving their parents huge SUVs buzzing around. Also, signing up for drives is a bit of a challenge as well. They now have an online system but getting the times that work for your schedule can be difficult and they fill up quickly. The good news is they give you a reasonable amount of time to get them all completed and you are responsible for setting the schedule so it is flexity. It is not cheap but my sanity was worth it.
