I brought my car in due to it not idling properly these guys had my car for 3 weeks and the only thing they could tell me was that I had some leaking radiator hoses and other leaks and minor issues not related to why I bought it in. They charged me to do a diagnostic and I did not hear anything on why my car was running the way it was. They suggested I run a fuel test which I approved them to do, 4 days went by and still nothing. So I was fed up due to this vehicle being my only vehicle I have. So I called and requested to pick up my car due to them wanting to wait another week to do my fuel pressure test, I just can't wait that long. So I told them to "not worry about it that im going to come get my car". Then proceeded to say they needed some time to put some things back together to come at a later time, well I arrived at a earlier time to find out they were trying to run the fuel pressure test anyways when I showed up. So they lied to me to be able to do the test anyways before I pick up my vehicle so they can still charge me for it. The lady got an attitude when I showed up earlier than she asked me to. Maybe because I caught them in a lie. She proceeded to talk about me on the phone when I was in the waiting room saying that "i guess it's such a big inconvenience for this guy that our mechanics are so tied up". in fact yes it is a big inconvenience when my car has been in your shop for over 3 weeks and nothing has been resolved. Maybe try working on the weekends and stop taking in so many vehicles so your guys can't catch up on work. I didn't get the name of the mechanic that talked to me after he did the fuel test, but this guy was a good guy no heat to the mechanics. These guys are overworked and have terrible management. If vall plan on taking your car here don’t expect to have it back any time soon.

My go to mechanics' machine was down, the other ones couldn't schedule me at the time I needed. So this was the last pick. For good reason. Shady, unethical, unprofessional. I should've read the reviews before I went. Once you get two or three reviews saying the same thing it's a pattern not a coincidence. Some places just give off a bad vibe this is one of those places. Check your car before and after if you go to Ruffino.

Ruffino Express Automotive Repair was a lifesaver during our time of urgent need after Hurricane Beryl. After coming back from out of town on Wednesday evening to no power, we struggled to get our generator working. All of Thursday (today) was spent trying to get our generator operational, and after exhausting all options we reached out to Ruffino Express Automotive Repair. From the first phone call it was evident that this was a business with heart who saw people and not numbers. Throughout our interaction, their empathy and dedication to their community was evident and did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. After explaining our situation and attempts to get our generator running, the husband and wife team immediately jumped into action and worked together to service our portable generator in a timely and thorough manner. It was impressive to see the precision and skill with which Josh worked to diagnose the problem. Thank you Josh for taking the time to educate us on ways to properly care for and maintain our generator to extend its life far into the future. Thanks to them our family now has one less thing to worry about as we wait on the power to be restored. Thank you Ruffino Express Automotive Repair for all that you did for my family!

They always go above and beyond, costumer service is unmatched! I have been coming here any time I can’t figure out what is wrong, or when I can’t do something! They are very affordable, and knowledgeable. They will definitely not scam you like other places would! I wish them the best!

I could see in this couple's faces that they are not sincere, I regret having let them continue to diagnose my AC.
I would have seen the reviews of this place before going.

I am happy with the repair work at Ruffino's. We have 3 Ford Vans,
1 Toyota MiniVan, 1 Chevrolet Truck and 1 GMC Truck they maintain them all, we depend on Ruffino to keep us rolling.

Brought my SUV for a diagnostic on my a/c system. I am very familiar with cars but did not have the time to fully diagnose it myself. When I dropped the car I made them aware I only wanted them to diagnose the a/c compressor since it wasn't kicking on but the system appeared to have Freon in it. I was told I would hear back by 2pm. They did not have a report ready for me until almost 6. When I got the report they had inspected multiple other things I never asked for in an attempt to up charge me on other repairs. They repair diagnosis for the a/c was $900 to replace what they claimed was leaking valves and suction hose and the system was low on freon. I declined these services as one it didn't make sense and two was in my opinion way too expensive. Spent an hour of my Saturday just to confirm the issue was not a leak but was in fact a bad a/c clutch magnet. A clutch rebuild kit is only $90 and couple hours to replace. I was charged $135 for what in my opinion was a false diagnostic that would not have fixed my issue at all. I would get a second opinion for whatever this shop tells you is needed for any repairs or just avoid them in general.

Great customer service and quality work. The staff is highly knowledgeable about car and vehicle maintenance. They were able to recommend particular areas to have fixed up along with prioritizing critical areas of concern. They will be our new place to get cars looked at!

Ruffinos was a very stand up place. Never have I felt more at home in a garage than here. They ran an inspection on my truck, pointed out some areas of opportunity, but never made me feel pressured to get the additional service. When the time comes that I get the pointed out opportunities serviced, I will 100% be returning here to get the work done.

called because my vehicle is not running, I'm located 8 minutes away from said buisness but was quoted $150 to tow and $99 to diagnostic. a bit much I think, also was told daignostic fee may or may not be included with a repair, won't be needing this service.

Took my daughter’s vehicle for a specific warranty repair. They were supposed to check and then seek my approval before submitting anything to warranty company. Next day..no contact, called multiple times and wouldn’t return my calls. I went to get the vehicle as I knew something was up. Upon arrival I learned they had submitted thousands of dollars worth of unnecessary and unapproved repairs to my warranty company without my knowledge or approval. I got the vehicle back and contacted my warranty company to advise them of this dishonest business’s conduct and told them to cancel the claim and not to pay these crooks! They also broke my daughter’s key chain and didn’t apologize! Complete scam artist, dishonest trash business! Never take your vehicle to these crooks!
