We have had an excellent experience with Planet Ford/Lincoln. Alex and Quintin were excellent and we would recommend working with them. They really helped us and want to make the right decision. Follow up with us has been excellent. When turning in our Explorer lease, Eddie took care of it and was also very helpful and gave us good information on moving forward. Can’t thank everyone enough!!

Three months ago I bought a second vechilefrom Planet Ford, which was a 2012Lincoln Navigator with 140xxx miles. This vechile came with a green sticker that said it was Planet Ford certified. I purchased the third-party insurance that covered internal parts up to 24,000 miles. After 2 months the engine developed a loud knock in it. I decieded to take it back to the dealership that certified it. This was my mistake as I could have taken it anywhere and been covered. This is where I met Rick White. After 2 weeks I recieved a diagnosis of bad lifters. I was also told the heater hoses were bad, and Allstate would not cover them, and that Planet Ford would charge one thousand dollars to fix them. I didn't have the extra cash so I told him that I would have my friend look at it and we would fix the hoses. I never got proof of them being bad and he refused to send me any paperwork so I could follow up on it. I called around and got an estimate to replace the heater hoses for 621.00 out the door. After another week went byRick told me he would replace the hoses for free, but he cannot find the rocker arms that it neededso there would be a delay in the repair timeline but couldn't let us know when it would be finished. In my experience no one offers repairs that are worth a thosand dollars for free if there is truly a problem. We did a quick search onlineand found thecrocker arms readily availableas well so, we were confused as to why there would be a delay. Another week went by , and we started to do some research and found out dealerships can't legally hold your vechile for more than 30 days. We sent an email to Rick stating everything we had found out and that we were looking to hire an attorney to retrive the vehicle. Like magic, the very next day it was finished and we picked it up. The heater hose parts that Rick said weren't covered by the warrenty, were on the invoice for the insurance company to pay. When my wife called Rickto adk how much we owed ( for the deductible) he told her a thousand dollars and laughed about it and then told her the actual deductable amount owed. I am writing this in the hopes that another person be spared this kind of treatment from Planet Lincoln. I will never go back, and I am telling anyone who will listen to me about my horrible experience with this dealership.

I received my car back on Tuesday afternoon and less than 12 hours later the check engine light was on again. I’ve been trying all day to speak with my service advisor who advised she was trying to get a loaner car. I guess if they don’t have loaner cars it shows something is wrong. Why are loaner cars given out for weeks at a time?? They kept the car for over a week and the light came on not even a day after being returned. $1500 dollars and the car may or may not start. Same problem I had before with planet ford and Lincoln. This will be my very last time going back to this company!!! A call with an update would be nice. After they sell you a car they treat you poorly when service is needed. I just need the car to work right!!!! This is frustrating? Stay away from Planet Ford and Lincoln their service department.
*** Update!! 8/23/24
Still haven’t heard anything from this dealership and now my daughter and my granddaughter is stuck on side of the road. The car doesn’t want to start. She’s been catching rides and Ubers on top of paying over $1500 on repairs. It hasn’t even been a year prior to the last incident with this same dealership. I’ve called and emailed people. Nothing yet!!
