We moved to our new home in Spring in July of 2023. When we moved in, we knew work needed to be done to the aging pool as we had tiles falling off and cracks in the coping.We visited Pinch a Penny and Jim and his staff were super courteous and attentive. Jim and Jeff visited our home and looked over the project and gave a fair assessment of the work that needed to be done and took into account the work that was on our "wish list" along with it.The process was very fast, fair and efficient. The crews that came to do the work were professional. I do hope that we do not have to have this much work done in the future, but when I run across a neighbor who needs a recommendation, I will certainly tell them to start with Pinch A Penny off of Louetta in Spring.Thanks, guys! The pool looks fantastic and we can't wait for summer to get here!

I've only been in the store a few times to date, and everyone there is friendly & courteous including their customer greeting dog. She is so friendly and loves people. The store is extremely clean and cool. I went in two days ago with a pool sweep that wasn't working correctly. "Jim" whom I believe is the owner helped me and repaired my worn out drive train. Jim spent at least a couple hours with me. When all was said and done I was only charged for the parts replaced and my bill was extremely reasonable. Thank you for everything Jim.

I can’t express enough how disappointed I was in this business. I walked into this store asking about a pool cleaning. My father recently passed away and the pool had not been tended to for some time. We needed to get his house ready to be sold. The funds were urgently needed.Not knowing anything about pools, I stopped by this store. They require a $100 deposit just to come look at your pool and you don’t get that back. The guy was not there 2 minutes and said, “You need a drain to clean and the owner will call you.” Apparently, they outsource for that service but they didn’t know if or when it could be done.A week went by with no answer and no call from the owner. At this point, I’m livid. I call this place in tears asking for the owner and I’m told, “The owner has nothing new to tell you.” I guess it never crossed her mind that I had something to tell him.After I pour my heart out and explained again the urgency, then the person on the line says she’ll let me know by the end of the day. She did follow through but I could not use them after that experience. So, they have my $100 for absolutely nothing.If you have a drain to clean situation, or an urgency to get your pool cleaned, I suggest you go elsewhere.

Best pool supply and service in Spring, TX. Owner is very knowledgeable and fixed our pool sweeper issues that had been ongoing for over a year! Tried other pool companies, but they never figured out the problem. I highly recommend Pinch A Penny service and supplies!!!!

I came across Jim when I had problem with algae in my pool. Jim and his staff resolved the problem effectively and promptly. I also appreciate their recommendation on unnecessary repairs recommended by others. I would definitely recommend this store.

Used to be an ok store to get pool supplies. The more I go in there, the more I realize how rude the people working there are. Especially the tall slender man. Plenty of other pool supply outlets in the area. Wont be returning to this location or recommending

Went there with my pool pump to get their "free diagnostic check " and they discovered what the problem was and it was a simple shaft seal replacement that could be easily done so I thanked him for the " free diagnostic check " and the employee wanted to charge me a $60 bench charge so naturally that made me very upset. I then explained to that rude employee that the problem can be easily fixed by me. So the diagnostic check is not free because they wanted me to feel obligated to let them work on it for $60 ;no way! Not something that can be easily done by myself. Also out of spite I was given the wrong size which made me very upset due to the distance I had to travel back to pool store to get a refund which was not given to me I had to dispute the charge with my bank which was given back to me immediately. Won't ever go back to this store again

Best pool store in Spring, Tx. The guys are knowledgeable and greet you with a smile, their recommendations are priceless and have save me time and money. They assemble my filter for free and for those screws and nuts that are hard to find, they offered them free of charge when available in the the repair area.

Very poor communication throughout, the most competent person that works there is the teenage hourly girl. The child cleaning my pool left the top off of my chlorinator dropped my pool about 2 feet and flooded my backyard I called in to talk to the manager about it and did not get a callback, technician showed up and did not apologize didn't even wanna acknowledge that he did it. When I did finally get him to admit it he told me my dog attacked him, typical kid who is never wrong. When it took the owner five days to get back to me I realize we were done there. Do not waste your time or money at this place.

Beware of this place. They try to sell you every chemical in the store to "help" your pool. The employees are not very knowledgeable. Sarah the "manager", watch out for her she's got a temper. Not everyday a manager calls you a "fucking dick" because you didn't want to buy something.Go to the pinch a penny off champions forest dr!!!!!
