Aquarium area had a large amount of water on the floor. The male associate with long hair in a ponytail was quite unfriendly. Wasn’t a very welcoming environment. The younger female associate was friendly though. Overall really disappointing. Seems like a really depressing job. Don’t understand why they can’t add more lighting to actually see the items. I think a coat of paint would do this place wonders.

Normally I love this place but this was meh. Sweet potato fries were cold, the dip was weird. They brought us the wrong food twice. Super disappointed in this visit

Their groomers are fantastic and their associates have always gave great service when I check out for all my pups needs. They’re not on their phones half the time like some locations I’ve been to. Good to know customer service can still exist.

I am posting this mainly because I was lied to by the female groomer, K**s**. I made an appointment for both my TOY poodles (5lb boy and 7lb girl) and set the appointment with a highly recommended Groomer, K**n***.Both of my fur babies came in healthy, with NO ISSUES. They were not matted at all, as I groom my own dogs with clippers that cannot cut them. I was called to come pick my dogs up. While on the call, I asked how my babies responded.I was told by Groomer, K**s** that all went well except my boy poodle had a cut on his paw that was preexisting. Then she claimed that the preexisting cut started bleeding as she was giving him a bath. Now keep in mind, NO ONE CALLED ME TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT MY FUR BABY BLEEDING OR ANY PREEXISTING CUTS. That’s because it’s a blatant LIE!!! The audacity of her to make such claims when this is the VERY FIRST visit to a groomer, which was them.She wasn’t even the one who was supposed to be grooming my baby. Then she said the assigned/appointed groomer, K**n*** needed her help because it takes 2 hours to do 1. If that was the case, then they should not have accepted both of them within the same time slot. ?I am SOOOOOO DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED that she would lie to me instead of saying, “hey, I apologize my clippers were too sharp and accidentally cut his paw. Let me take a little something off the bill.” BUT TO BLATANTLY LIE IN MY FACE SHOWS THE INTEGRITY OF THE PEOPLE THIS STORE HIRES!The character of a person that does not accept responsibility of their errors does NOT need to be caring for anyone or anything! Now my fur baby is limping around barely putting weight on his paw. AND THIS IS DAY 3.And keep in mind HE WAS NOT LIMPING/NOT PUTTING WEIGHT ON HIS LEG PRIOR TO THIS APPOINTMENT. BEWARE OF WHO YOU ALLOW TO GROOM YOUR FUR BABIES. I was seriously hoping this Petco grooming salon would be excellent due to all the rave reviews about K**n*** who I am told is the GSL.JUST DISAPPOINTED AND VERY UPSET ABOUT MY LITTLE BOY WHO IS STILL LIMPING AFTER 3 DAYS!!!! ?SHAME ON YOU K**s**!!! Learn from this PLEASE… LYING IS NOT THE BEST POLICY!!! ?And I will be canceling my next appointment as this place does not deserve my money. SMH!?YOU LIED ? & CUT MY FUR-BABY’S PAW AND GAVE HIM AN EXISTING CUT, WHICH IS NOW A PREEXISTING CUT THANKS TO YOU! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!??

Everyone is always helpful and upbeat and nice at this Petco. Alex always greets me and my dog when I bring him with nice enthusiasm. He makes me feel at home and he is great to go out of his way to help me locate items I might be looking for. I always feel at home there.

Krys will welcome you to the store with the worst customer service and attitude when I asked for help to cancel the membership she said “they don’t pay me enough” shrugged her shoulders and said I can’t help you ???? As I walked outside she yelled “contact better business bureau in San Diego “.She kept complaining about her job …Definitely not coming back

I will also be making a review on yelp,just left this location,The lady at the front desk was snobby and kind of rude when I asked for the restroom key,when I got into the restroom there was cockroaches on the floor and not just one either,had to stop my 4yr old from trying to play with them!place smelled terrible as well,i honestly don't know how this place is still in business!I will also be reporting this place for health code violations!

I have been coming to this Petco for almost three years now. Mr. Terry, Mrs. Kris, Mr. Alex and literally the entire staff have always shown such kindness to their customers. I always have a great experience going in there. Thank you all for all that you do!!
