Tim Shipe is running a terrible operation. His team is not capable of solving issues with your car. DO NOT GO HERE!
I took my car here with an electrical issue, because my normal mechanic would need a spacial Hyundai Software to find the root of the issue.
I made an appointment. I DRIVE my car up into their bay and wait 10mins. A man approaches the car and asks me how things are with my car. Assuming this is someone finally come to help I explain everything to him. He goes on to sell me a new car. He was a salesman. I brush him off and 5 mins later I meet Meya for the first time. Explain all the issues and she quotes me something much much higher then previously stated on their website. It is one electrical issue causing all of the problems the car has, but I was going to be charged for all of the signs of the one electrical issue. So I asked them to only look into the shiftier issue. So none of the issues I saw were noted at ALL! When you go into solve a problem you want/need all the information you can possibly have on this issue. I told Meya the information from day one and it was cast aside.
I will state this here, that all my quoted times were terrible and should have never been said.
A week late they messaged with something that they made me feel was promising. I signed off for them to do this. I heard nothing from them at the quoted time. I waited three days to hear from them (MEYA) then I called and I got "oh let me check on that." That fixed nothing and I signed off on it so I get left with that as a charge towards me. This continues over and over, me asking how sure they were that is would be the fix them saying 90%. The second time they told me they brought in an Engineer that I was made to believe had a firm understanding of the design of my car. This next fix cost the most to sign off on so they really had to talk me into it. Whoever was looking at my car this whole time had no idea how to troubleshoot a electrical issue!
I went through this back and forth with them 4-5 times with them in a span of 4 months. During this process I was suggested to just buy one of the cars on their lot. WHY WOULD I BUY SOMETHING YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX?!?!? (I believe their whole "service" department is a scheme for them to make sure you buy a new car from them.)
My wife was 5 months pregnant at the time it started and 9 months when it ended.
I took work off early and went up there and waited an hour to receive a rental car.
I was denied a rental car.
So I had to take off work to get my wife to all of her appointments.
I was finally guaranteed we were at the final fix. So I signed off on the last one, setting my total to be thousands of dollars.
Not only did this fix nothing like the rest of their ideas this took them a whole month to get the part, put it in, not contact me at all, me/wife calling them everyday with no answers. Brandon finally gives me the number of his boss to try and resolve the fact it is 4 months later and I have no working car and a huge bill that I have signed off on. Tim NEVER answered his phone for a week! I have to this day never heard from Tim! The head of a department that utterly and completely FAILED from day 1! In my line of work would cut ties with a company that treats me this way and I would also let everyone else I know not to ever do business with this man again. Such disrespect and mishandling of a customer.
They did clear my bill. I was told my car was not able to be fixed. Basically calling it scrap for a junk yard. I was told to bring a tow truck(note I drove up in the car). I get dropped, Meya asked "where is the tow truck?" I tell her I drove here in it I will will just drive out of here. She then tells me the mechanic was never able to put it into drive for the 4 months it has been there! I DROVE up in the car! Not once did someone ask "how was that possible?" You will not resolve anything if you don

This dealership has zero competency regarding service. Missed appointments without calling to reschedule. Made several phone calls to confirm a new appointment and service time with no answer or response. After the initial phone call every follow up call was forwarded to an automated message for “Cindy”. You’re better off going to another dealership or a local shop.

I had a fantastic experience working with Caleb Leiper, a member of the sales team at North Freeway Hyundai. From the moment I arrived, Gloria, the receptionist, set a refreshing and honest tone - a rare find for me in car dealerships.
Caleb's exceptional service took the entire experience to a new level. He was incredibly approachable and knowledgeable, ensuring an efficient and smooth process. He quickly helped me find the exact Palisade I wanted (minus my original exterior color choice) and ensured that all the tech in my new car was set up before I left. Even though the original car color I wanted was only available at another dealership, the exceptional service at North Freeway Hyundai convinced me to change colors so that I could continue working with them!
Caleb went above and beyond to ensure that any small follow-up services were handled promptly. Overall, this was the easiest and most pleasant car-buying or leasing experience I've ever had, completely exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend Caleb, Doug Chappell (General Sales Manager), and the entire team at North Freeway Hyundai!

They had my vehicle 2 weeks for repairs, totaling over $950. For my vehicle to be returned to me multiple problems. This is one reason that I try my best to work on my own vehicles when I can. Seems like almost every time I take a vehicle in for repairs, I end up needing to fix something else that was broken by the shop while in for repairs. So I open my rear passenger side door, because my things were placed on the floor behind the passenger seat; and a piece on my door handle falls off like the handle been broken and placed back like nothing happened. Then I opened my trunk to find a couple of blocks of wood left back there??♂. This is not all; when I look down to put my car in gear, I see that the gear shifter wasn't all the way put back together. Last but not least, I have light color interior in my car. I have dirt and grease marks on my seats from where someone forgot that clean up is a part of the job also. Now I have to go scrub my seats. One of the service workers took my car to the back so they could fix the gear shifter. Also they are ordering the part for my door. This is the only reason this place is receiving 2 stars and not 1 star. Paying $950+ for repair work, my vehicle SHOULD NOT have been returned to me in this condition.
Update: I had to take my two stars, and drop it down to one star. Apparently the service guy can't keep his word, from the discussion we had before I took my car off the lot. He assured me that he would replace
the door handle piece. When I did a follow up with them, now all of a sudden they don't believe it was broken by them. The piece fell off as soon as I open the door as if it was broken and just placed there. Now this was a lot of money that I spent with this place, to get this lack of customer care. And I reiterate I never even drove my car off of the lot when this happened, so it's not like I took the car somewhere and came back.

I bought a new car here… my advice is to check the fine print, they will sell you things you don't need, after two years your car will make noises and the maintenance you schedule will be bad, since the vehicle will ask you to have it checked again after a few days… poor customer service if you are Hispanic…

I purchased my 2016 Hyundai Tucson from this dealership in 2019 and recently the engine seized. I called NFWYHyundai and was connected with Mike Harrison who assured me that I could have the vehicle towed to his service department and he would check on it as soon as possible. Mike called me and explained what was wrong with the vehicle and asked for me to provide a few documents and allow time for the warranty company to review. He was communicative and went above and beyond making sure that I stayed informed throughout the process. I am so grateful to have purchased my vehicle from a company that employs individuals who really care about their customers in difficult times and that work hard to resolve issues as quickly as possible. Poor communication!! Poor quality of car!! Stay away from Hyundai! We just recently purchased our car. After a month, it started having transmission problems. We brought it back to this dealership- July 23rd. We don’t get updates unless we call. We are always given indefinite answers. I have been very patient and kind however these is causing us inconvenience! We are in the process of returning the car but per the agent I spoke to he asked the documents last week and called twice and never heard a call back from them. I’ve been calling and texting and nothing. This is so disappointing!

$5k in markups and badmouthing other really good companies made me turn around and leave so fast. Do yourself a favor and go to Demontrond VW across the street instead.
