I made an appointment with Milstead Collision after Hurricane Beryl for collision repair. This appointment was scheduled by them for their convenience which was 1-2 weeks after I placed a call to them (Aug 26). A couple days after I dropped the car off I received a call from them stating they have been unable to contact the insurance company that is responsible for the repair. I gave all the contact information for that insurance company when I initially made the drop off appointment. The next day I received a call saying they successfully reached the insurance company. Ask me how many times I have heard from them since then after almost 4 weeks. Go ahead, ask. The answer is 1. Despite me asking to speak with a manager and weekly calls for an update. I get the response from the secretary that there is no information in the computer and that the adjuster is always busy or in a meeting and she will have him call me back. He never does. I have received 1 phone call from the manager stating that the vehicle should be ready by mid to end of next week. Guess what, it is the end of the week and the car is not ready and of course everybody is on a meeting and they “will call me back”. This used to be a fantastic business and I have used them before and came back because of the excellent experience I received at that time. This experience is a complete 180 degrees and the business has changed significantly. I plan on avoiding this place of business in the future until I see improvements based on reviews. It’s been 4 weeks and I still don’t have a vehicle and no updates.

This place is not the place to use!!! Save yourself!! They are all scammers. Don't trust them!!! From management in down to the tow truck drivers they use. I'm guessing the positive reviews are people they know or pay!!

I dropped my car off on July 2 and was told they would take care of it and the amount that “at fault” persons insurance gave me was accepted. They called and said my car was done July 5. I was pleasantly surprised. When I arrived my husband saw that there was part that they hadn’t fixed. We left it it there, then they called me 2 hours later and said it was done again. We arrived to get and it was exactly the same as before! The service writer got pissed at my husband and walked off without saying anything. So we reluctantly left my vehicle again. I called a week after the hurricane and was told they didn’t have power but would call me when they got power back. A week later, no call so I called them and they said they had the new bumper but needed to see if it had been painted yet and would call me back. No call and I waited another week. I called today, over 4 weeks later, and they said my car is done but they are waiting on more money from the other person’s insurance company! So they are holding my car hostage until the insurance company pays more. Milstead didn’t not tell me that it may cost more and that they wouldn’t let me have my car if it costs more.

This company damaged my Mercedes Sprinter the employees are very racist! After I drove my vehicle there for repairs I was told to come and pick it up disassembled and no longer able to drive! So my vehicle had to be towed to another shop damaged and disassembled! The staff was very dismissive and disrespectful! I have multiple video recordings of my vehicle and my interaction with staff! If you have a vehicle that’s actually worth something I would not suggest taking it to this company! Save your Money, your time, your vehicle and your peace!

This is my second time using them. Israel and the entire team are super professional, care for their customers, and also the body of work is exceptional. They always pick or drop me off and not have to pay for Uber. I highly recommend them.

Israel and the Milstead team provided exceptional service every step of the way. I was kept informed at every step and Israel made sure to go above and beyond to resolve my car issues and any questions I had. I will 100% recommend Milstead to everyone I come across.

I met with Chris, he inspected the damages, gave me a quote, explained the work they'd perform, and how long they'd need the vehicle. I dropped the vehicle off, and the gave me a ride home!! Picked the car up a few days later, and it looked great. Drives great too! I would recommend them to anyone for both mechanic repairs and collision/body work.

Our experience at Milstead Collision was nothing short of fantastic. The whole team, and Chris especially, took such good care of our vehicle, kept us updated, and guided us through the whole process, even on the insurance-side. We were in and out faster than we expected, and spent less money than we expected, what more can you ask for from a collision repair shop? ☺️? You guys are awesome, thanks again. Highly recommend! ?

I had damage to my car from a car wash on 7/2023. The car wash sent me to Milstead to get an estimate. Got the estimate done super fast, and Milstead said they would send it to the rep at the car wash for approval. I guess the car wash rep kept ignoring it. For six months, I kept calling and stopping by and even tried to email the car wash themselves. Finally, I went into Milstead again on 1 /2024 and encountered Chris. He heard my situation and said he would order the part right away and get it fixed for me without waiting for the car wash guy. He said he didn't want me to have bad feelings about Milstead because this other company wasn't holding up their end of the bargain. Chris called me the next day and had the part ready to go. I stopped by, and they fixed me up in less than 5 min! Chris went above and beyond, and I really appreciate that.

There is a reason this place is a preferred provider for AAA! Our RAV4 was in a collision and AAA had us take it here for an estimate. We were so impressed with the courtesy and professionalism that we had no issues asking them to do the repairs as well. The work was done *early* and at the given estimate. The car looks as good as new and I couldn't be happier! This is a top-class shop and my cars will never go anywhere else!

This is by far the BEST collision shop I’ve ever been to and believe me I’ve been to quite a few in my line of work. I’m definitely not going anywhere else. Chris and the entire staff was amazing even down to the lady detailing my truck after the work was completed. Best experience ever. Now if we can get these insurance companies on board with the same level of customer service. Lol!
